Touchpoints refer to either telephonic, email, or in-person interaction a recruiter has made with a prospect. These points of contact can help your organization's recruiting team view the progress made with a given prospect and plan for any appropriate next steps. In this article, we will cover how to:
Add Touchpoints to Prospect
From the prospect's profile, navigate to the Jobs panel and click Add Touchpoint.
From the subsequent Add Touchpoint dialog box, provide information for the following fields:
Type |
Categorize the touchpoint into one of three different types:
|
User | Identify the Greenhouse user who performed the touchpoint |
Date | The date when the touchpoint happened |
Note | Provide other members of your team any additional context or description regarding the touchpoint. |
When finished, click Save.
Note: Emails sent through Greenhouse Recruiting are also considered touchpoints and will be added automatically to the prospect's Activity Feed as both an Email and Touchpoint. This includes emails that log prospect conversations via Maildrop.
View Prospect's Touchpoints
Touchpoints added to a prospect's profile will be recorded in their profile's Activity Feed along with other types of actions performed to the profile. From the prospect's profile, navigate to the Jobs panel and click Activity Feed.
From the Activity Feed pane, navigate to the Filter dropdown menu and select Touchpoints.
All touchpoints associated with the prospect will populate in the list below.
Note: Emails sent through Greenhouse Recruiting are also considered touchpoints and will be added automatically to the prospect's Activity Feed as both an Email and Touchpoint. This includes emails that log prospect conversations via Maildrop.
Edit/Delete Prospect's Touchpoints
Not every touchpoint entry will be perfect when initially submitted so we made touchpoints forgiving and flexible! Use this new feature to correct mistakes, change details of a touchpoint, add a note for more context, change the type, etc...
From a prospect's Activity Feed your organization can edit or delete touchpoints at your discretion by navigating to a touchpoint on the list and clicking Edit to change the details of the touchpoint or Delete to completely erase it.
