To promote inclusive and diverse hiring, you can hide candidate's identifying information during assessments like Take Home Tests to reduce the potential influence of bias during the grading process. When tests are anonymized, the results will still be tied to the candidate's profile, but the grader will complete the assessment without knowing the identifying candidate information.
Enable anonymous take home tests for your organization
Click on the Configure icon in the upper right-hand corner and select Inclusion Tools from the left-hand panel.
Turn on Anonymous take home test grading in the Interviewing section.
Turn on anonymous tests for a job
Once the organization setting is enabled, Job Admins can choose to Hide candidate name and details from grader when setting up a take home test.
To update this setting for a job, navigate to the Job Setup tab and choose Interview Plan on the left side of the page.
Edit or create a Take Home Test stage.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Hide candidate name and details from grader in the Additional Settings section.
Note: This option is only available on Take Home Test stages.
Assess an anonymous take home test
When a test is ready, the graders will receive a trimmed-down email that does not include the candidate's information.
The interview kit will also leave out the candidate's name and the link to their profile to discourage interviewers from doing too much research before assessing the test.
