Video Interview provides a complete set of tools to let you create interviews and manage, view, and evaluate candidates. Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Video Interview allows you to seamlessly add video interviews to your interview pipeline. In this article we will cover how to:
- Enable Greenhouse/Video Interview integration
- Add a Video Interview stage to a job's interview plan
- Configure Video Interview stage
- Send and Review the Interview
Enable Greenhouse/Video Interview Integration
To start, contact your Video Interview representative to receive your API key. The Video Interview support team will then email you back confirming that your API Key was issued. Once issued, you can find it in your account under Account > Integrations.
Note: Do not send the API key in this initial email.
The Greenhouse Support Team will respond with a SendSafely link for you to enter your API key. A notification will be sent to the Greenhouse Support Team after you have entered your API key and they will email you to confirm that your API key has been set up in your account and your integration is enabled.
Note: To verify your identity, the Greenhouse Support Team might request you provide a Support Verification Code before adding the API key to your organization's account.
Add Video Interview Stage to Job's Interview Plan
Once the Greenhouse/Video Interview integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the Video Interview stage as an Interview stage.
To do this for an existing job, navigate to a job (All Jobs>Job Name) and click Job Setup from the Job navigation bar.
From the Job Setup page, navigate to Interview Plan on the left-hand panel. Scroll down the page and click + Add a Stage.
From the Add Stage dialog box, select the Video Interview stage. When finished, click Add to apply the stage to the job's interview plan.
Configure Video Interview Stage
Once the stage has been added, click Edit next to Video Interview. From there, you will see a drop-down menu that reflects the assessment that you’ve previously set up in Video Interview. Select the appropriate assessment, assign at least one Greenhouse user to grade/review submitted assessment, and then click Save.
Note: Keep in mind that all configuration of the assessment itself, as well as the email template, will need to be handled in Video Interview. While you will click Send Test from within Greenhouse, the interview instructions are actually sent by Video Interview.
Send and Review the Interview
When candidates are moved into the Video Interview stage, Greenhouse will display a Send Test link.
Note: When you send a test from Greenhouse, the interview instructions will actually be sent by Video Interview.
The status of the assessment will be viewable in Greenhouse and will display either:
- Take Home Test to be sent.
- Waiting for candidate to submit test
- Please note that this status will be displayed until you have actually reviewed the interview in your Video Interview account.
- Scorecard due from <DESIGNATED_GRADER>
Once the candidate has submitted their interview and you have rated it in Video Interview, the Greenhouse Interview Kit will contain a link to view the submitted video interview as well as details of your scorecard ratings.
