- Add inclusion nudge when filling out a scorecard
Greenhouse Recruiting's DE&I feature set inclusdes six interviewing features you can activate individually by clicking the Configure icon > then select Inclusion Tools.
When active, these features will nudge recruiters and interviewers to think about unconscious bias, structure their decision-making processes when filling out scorecards, and / or hide candidate data. For more information on the research and reasoning behind these interviewing features, see our articles on Structured decision-making and Bias-reducing behavior.
Working with our partners at Paradigm and our academic advisory board, Greenhouse Recruiting has provided the copy for the behavioral nudges included in these features.
If Prompt candidates to record their name pronunciation is activated, candidates will see an option to record their name when submitting their availability for an interview. The recording will be available to interviewers from the candidate's profile and from within the Interview Kits. Click here to learn more.
If Prompt candidates to provide their personal pronouns is activated, candidates will see an option to provide their personal pronouns when providing interview availability. Click here to learn more.
If Anonymous take home test grading is activated, a candidate's name and identifying information will be hidden from graders. For more information, please click here.
If the Remind interviewers to add a note when rating an attribute feature is activated, you will have the additional option to make this reasoning optional or required by selecting the appropriate box. If required, interviewers will need to explain their reasoning for each rated attribute.
If Add inclusion nudge when filling out a scorecard is activated, interviewers will be reminded at the top of each scorecard to focus on job-relevant qualifications to reduce bias.
If Add inclusion nudge when editing Candidate Interview Confirmation template and sending email is activated, Coordinators and Recruiters will be reminded to provide interview preparation materials to all candidates when sending the Candidate Interview Confirmation email.
