Report Builder gives your organization the flexibility to customize reports so you can easily find your data. Tailor the metrics you are tracking, and organize the data across jobs, offices, departments, timeframe, and more within your reports. Likewise, use customizable Pipeline Reports to track the historical and current health of your interview pipeline, and your recruiting activity for each stage.
In this article, we will cover:
Navigate to Report Builder
To begin, click the ellipsis icon on your navigation bar and select Reports from the dropdown menu.
From the Reports page, click Build Report.
From the Choose Report Type dialog box, navigate to the left-hand panel to choose a report starting point. Click through the categories to review available template options, or use the search bar at the top of the panel to browse by keyword.
Note: When choosing a starting point, consider what specific question you aim to answer with the data from your report.
Click a report template to select, and then click Customize Template.
Report Builder includes many reports to select from as your starting point, with each of these options falling into one of two categories:
- Build Report from Template
- Build Your Own Report
Build Report from Template
Build Report From Template allows you to select one of Greenhouse Recruiting's native reports as a starting point, then edit the report's metrics and apply filters to adjust as needed. Building a report from a template is a good option if an existing report has almost what you need, but you want to adjust it just a bit.
Build Your Own Report
Build Your Own Report allows you to create a report nearly from scratch. Select a category you wish to report on (such as Candidates, Jobs, Departments, etc), and Greenhouse Recruiting will provide a few relevant metrics to help get you started. From there, edit the report's metrics and apply filters to create just the view you need.
