Report Builder gives your organization the flexibility to customize reports so you can easily find data relevant to your goal. Building a report is intuitive – add and organize your data with a few simple clicks! You can live-preview the report as you're building it to see if you get the results and data you really need. Report Builder's customizable pipeline reports help you track the health of your recruiting activity from start to finish.
Use Report Builder
To use Report Builder, click Reports on your navigation bar.
Click Create, then choose Build a report.
Next, choose a report starting point.
You can click through the categories on the left to review the available template options, or you can use the search bar at the top to search by keyword.
Report Builder includes many reports to select as your starting point, with each of them falling into one of two categories:
Build report from template
Build report from template allows you to select one of Greenhouse Recruiting's essential reports as a starting point. You can then edit the report's metrics and apply filters to generate the data you need. Building a report from a template is a good option if an existing report has almost what you need, but you want to adjust it just a bit.
Build your own report
Build your own report allows you to create a report nearly from scratch. Select a category you wish to report on, such as candidates, jobs, or departments, and Greenhouse Recruiting will provide a few relevant metrics to help get you started. From there, you can edit the report's metrics and apply filters to generate the report you need.

Tip: When choosing a starting point, consider what specific question you aim to answer with the data from your report.
For instance, if you're looking for information on offers from last year, the Build your own offer report might be a good starting point!
Select your template by clicking the report name, and then click Customize Template.
On the subsequent page, you can add Columns to your custom report on the left. The available columns will differ depending on the report template type you chose.
Click Filters to add filters and refine the data that appears on your custom report. Depending on the report template type you chose, the available options may differ, but common filters include activity dates, jobs, and offices.
