Overview
Quick Apply allows candidates to autofill Greenhouse-hosted job applications using information saved in their MyGreenhouse profile, making it faster and easier to apply.
When enabled, an Autofill with Greenhouse button appears on your job posts. First-time users are prompted to create a free, password-free MyGreenhouse account where they can store their resume and basic details for future applications.
By reducing application friction, Quick Apply helps increase completed applications and supports repeat engagement across your roles.
How Quick Apply works
Quick Apply saves job seekers time by adding their information to their MyGreenhouse account so they can autofill future applications. Candidates can add as much, or as little, information to their profile as they'd like, including:
- Name and contact
- Education
- Employment history
- Online profiles
- Self-identification information (voluntary)
When your organization enables Quick Apply, candidates will see an "Autofill with Greenhouse" button when they view your job applications.
On their first visit, selecting this button prompts candidates to create a free MyGreenhouse account. To keep applying for jobs easy and streamlined, MyGreenhouse is password-free. Candidates simply sign in with a code sent to their email.
Once signed in, candidates complete their Quick Apply profile by adding their resume and personal details.
After creating their Quick Apply profile, candidates select "Autofill with Greenhouse" on Greenhouse-hosted job applications to complete them with the click of a button, which increases the likelihood that they'll apply for your roles.
Turn on Quick Apply
Go to Configure, then MyGreenhouse. Scroll to "Quick Apply." Click "Preview" to understand what candidates will see on your job posts when you turn on Quick Apply. When you're ready, toggle Quick Apply on. Changes will apply instantly.
