Blujin’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows Users to make rapid and accurate decisions on candidates and at the click of a button ask greenhouse to Advance, Reject or Un-reject an applicant.

Create a Harvest API key

To configure the blujin’s integration, you’ll need to create a Harvest API key.

Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the blujin’s integration.

Note: You must give the Greenhouse Harvest API Key to your blujin contact.

Credentials

In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:

  • API Type: Harvest
  • Partner: blujin or Unlisted Vendor
  • Description: blujin Harvest API Key

Verify that the following permissions are selected for blujin’s integration:

Set up Greenhouse users in blujin

To create Greenhouse users in blujin, give your blujin contact a list of the names and Greenhouse user emails of the users that you wish to create in blujin

Blujin will send user invites with steps to create a username and password

Use the blujin integration with Greenhouse Recruiting

Your blujin contact will give you a URL that takes you to the LOGIN screen for your blujin instance.

Adding Jobs and Candidates to blujin from Greenhouse

Once you LOGIN you will see the Jobs List and you can Add a Job by clicking on the “+” Job Add button as highlighted by the box in the picture below:

Then you will be able to select Import Job from ATS, as shown in the highlighted box in the picture below:

If properly configured and connected with Greenhouse, you will be shown a window with a list of the Jobs in Greenhouse that you have access to and have not yet been added to blujin. You can select one of them to load that Job Description and all the associated Candidate Resumes for scoring, by clicking on the radio button next to a Job and then click Submit in the top right of the screen:

Decisions on Candidates in blujin are automatically carried out in Greenhouse

On the Candidate Detail Screen, you can take actions like Advance and Reject the candidate. Once selected, the user will have options based on the Advance Stages and Reject Reasons / Email Templates that are in their specific Greenhouse instance. Select the action in blujin and Greenhouse will execute it.

Note: Actions (edits) taken in blujin are reflected in Greenhouse as having been taken by the Recruiter’s or Hiring Manager’s ID of the person using blujin.

For example, if “you” Advance a Candidate to a certain stage in blujin, then that Action is reflected in Greenhouse as having been taken by “you” the Greenhouse User that is Logged into blujin and took that action.
