The JustCall integration with Greenhouse Recruiting offers the following features:
- All candidates in your Greenhouse account are automatically synced as contacts in JustCall.
- You can access candidate profiles and previous conversations instantly by clicking the contact badge during calls.
- Call or text candidates directly from Greenhouse with ease—no screen-switching needed! Simply install the JustCall Chrome Extension for seamless click-to-dial functionality and you can simply pin it to your browser to handle incoming calls without opening JustCall.
- Automatically logs all calls (incoming, outgoing, missed, voicemail) and texts (incoming and outgoing) in Greenhouse, capturing details like call duration, agent info, notes, AI-generated summaries, voicemail recordings, and SMS content—all neatly saved as Notes and linked to the respective candidate for seamless tracking.
- Use any JustCall Dialer—Web, Chrome Extension, Desktop, or Mobile Apps (iOS and Android)—to call or text, with all activities synced and logged in real-time to your Greenhouse account.
Create a Harvest API key
To configure the JustCall integration, you’ll need to create a Harvest API key.
Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the JustCall integration.
Credentials
In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:
- API Type: Harvest
- Partner: JustCall or Unlisted Vendor
- Description: JustCall Harvest API Key
Permissions
Verify that the following permissions are selected for the JustCall integration:

- Get: Retrieve Candidate
- Get: List Candidates
- Patch: Edit Candidate
- Post: Add Candidate
- Post: Add Note

Users
- Get: Retrieve User
- Get: List Users
Enter Your API Credentials in JustCall to Complete Setup
With your Harvest API key copied from Greenhouse Recruiting, you're ready to enable the JustCall integration.
Login to your respective JustCall account.
From the JustCall Dashboard, select Integrations in the left-hand menu bar.
On the Integrations page, navigate to the CRM and Helpdesk Tools tab and search for Greenhouse.
Click +Integrate button in the left corner of the Greenhouse integration box.
In the Connect your Greenhouse Account with JustCall dialog box, fill in the following fields:
- Greenhouse API Key: Paste the Greenhouse Harvest API Key saved from your Greenhouse account
- Greenhouse URL: Add your Greenhouse account URL appearing at the top of your browser.
- Greenhouse Email Address: enter the Email ID with which you are logged into the Greenhouse account.
Click on the Integrate button at the bottom of the Connect your Greenhouse Account with JustCall dialog box.
Note: After setting up the integration, review your team’s mapping. For users with matching email IDs in JustCall and Greenhouse, the mapping is automatically handled. For others, you can manually select the appropriate email ID from the dropdown menu.
Use JustCall's Dialer with Greenhouse
Once the JustCall and Greenhouse integration is successfully set up, you can effortlessly call or text candidates directly from Greenhouse without switching between screens. Follow the steps below to make a phone call or send a text message.
Making a Phone Call
Log into Greenhouse, and navigate to the candidate's profile by selecting the job they applied for and then clicking their name in the candidate list.
On the candidate’s details panel (typically on the right-hand side), find the candidate’s phone number listed under the Phone number section.
Click on the phone icon next to the candidate’s phone number.
Click on the phone icon next to the candidate’s phone number and Greenhouse will use the JustCall dialer to place the call.
During the call, relevant details like call duration and call ID will be displayed.
The system logs the following information automatically:
- Call ID: A unique identifier for the call.
- Call Duration: Recorded in HH:MM:SS format.
- Date & Time: When the call was made.
- Called On: Candidate's contact number.
- Called Via: The assigned sales or recruiting line.
- Call Recording: The complete recording of the call is available.
After the call you add additional notes or tags, if applicable.
Sending a Text Message
Similar to Making a Phone Call, on the candidate’s details panel (typically on the right-hand side), find the candidate’s phone number listed under the Phone number section.
Click on the text icon next to the candidate’s phone number.
Click on the text icon next to the candidate’s phone number and Greenhouse will use the JustCall dialer to send the text.
Use JustCall's Sales Dialer with Greenhouse
From the JustCall Dashboard, select Sales Dialer in the left-hand menu bar.
Click + Create Campaign button in the Sales Dialer left-hand menu bar.
On the New Campaign page, begin by choosing the most suitable dialing mode for your outreach campaign.
The following options are available:
- Dialing Preferences
- Dialing Mode
Tip: You can click Learn more under each mode for detailed explanations.
After choosing the desired Dialing Mode, click the Next button on the top right corner of the New Campaign page to proceed to the contact step.
Choose Greenhouse as an option to proceed to add the contacts you wish to include in your campaign.
Configure the Greenhouse integration
Next, you’re required to configure the Greenhouse integration.
Select the Greenhouse account from the drop-down menu list.
Select Entity from the drop-down menu.
The following options are available:
- Candidates
- Prospects
Candidates
If you choose Candidates as an option for Select Entity:
- In the Select Job option, you will see the list of all open jobs present in your integrated Greenhouse account. You can select the job from the drop-down for which you would like to fetch candidates.
- In the Select Stage option, you can select the stages from the drop-down for which you'd like to import candidates. Note that if you leave this field empty, candidates from all stages will be imported.
Prospects
If you choose Prospects as an option for Select Entity:
- In the Select Job option, you will see the list of all open jobs present in your integrated Greenhouse account. You can select the job from the drop-down for which you would like to fetch prospects.
- The Select Pool and Select Owner fields allow you to filter prospects based on specific criteria. Note that JustCall will only retrieve prospects who belong to a selected prospect pool and have one of the specified users assigned as their owner in Greenhouse. If these fields are left blank, all prospects associated with the job will be fetched.
Finish setup
After adding the desired contacts, click the Next button on the top right corner of the New Campaign page to proceed to the review mapping.
Next, you’re required to map Sales Dialer fields with Greenhouse fields.
The following options are available for you:
- Sales Dialer Fields: These are the fields in Sales Dialer where you want the data to go.
- Greenhouse Fields: These are the fields in your CRM that contain the data you want to import.
- Mapped Status: A green checkmark indicates a successful mapping. A red triangle means the field is not mapped yet.
To map a field:
- Click the dropdown menu under the Greenhouse Field column for the corresponding field from your CRM.
- The mapped status should change to a green checkmark.
Note that by default, the following fields are mapped between Sales Dialer and Greenhouse - Phone Number, Name, Email, and Address. To import additional data into Sales Dialer custom fields, you are required to map fields between Sales Dialer and Greenhouse.
Next, customize how your contacts are imported, including the country code, and click the Next button on the top right corner of the New Campaign page to proceed with your campaign.
You can configure your Campaign Settings and Assign Members to your team, as per your requirements.
Once you're done, click Finish Setup on the top right corner of the New Campaign page.
Download JustCall Chrome Extension
You can either search for and download the JustCall Chrome Extension from the Google Chrome Web Store or download it directly from the JustCall Dashboard bar.
From the JustCall Dashboard bar, click the Download Apps icon in the top right corner.
Next, choose Chrome from the given options.
In the JustCall - Click To Calls for CRM Tools page, click Add to Chrome button in the top right corner.
On the confirmation pop-up, review the data the JustCall extension will access and click Add extension.
Next, you'll be directed to a page where you can choose your input and output devices and perform a test. To ensure you are able to make and receive calls from this Chrome browser, please allow the microphone permissions. (check the permissions popup coming out of the address bar).
After installing the extension, go back to the Candidate's profile in Greenhouse and refresh the page. This will ensure the Click to Call and Text icons appear and are ready to use. If the icons do not appear, it indicates an issue with the integration.

Calls made from Sales Dialer would be logged against the candidates or prospects on Greenhouse as an activity feed Notes, similar to the calls that are made from JustCall.
