Sync2Hire integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows Internal Hiring Team Members and candidates to effectively communicate post-application.

Create a Harvest API key

To configure the Sync2Hire integration, you’ll need to create a Harvest API key.

Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the Sync2Hire integration.

Credentials

In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:

  • API Type: Harvest
  • Partner: Sync2Hire or Unlisted Vendor
  • Description: Sync2HireHarvest API Key

Permissions

Verify that the following permissions are selected for the Sync2Hire integration:

  • Candidates
    • GET: Retrieve Candidate
  • Users
    • GET: Retrieve User
  • Jobs
    • GET: Retrieve Jobs
  • Application
    • GET: List Application

Create a Workspace in Sync2Hire

To finish the setup, you'll need to create a workspace in Sync2Hire that is connected to Greenhouse.

Navigate to Workspaces and select New.

Name your workspace (e.g. Company Name)

Select Greenhouse from the list

Sync employee, job, candidate and application data

Paste your API Key and click Authorize. You do not need to enter a Job board token.

The entire process will take a few seconds.

Batch sync occurs every 30 minutes. Additionally, if enabled by the Sync2Hire Tech support team, auto-sync will trigger whenever there is an update to employee, job, candidate, or application data in Greenhouse.
