Speak_’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows users to score applicants for any role based on the job description, the candidates’ resumes, and custom signals that recruiters provide about what makes a candidate stand out. Then, recruiters and hiring teams can quickly review the best candidates for each role and move them through the stages of the interview process directly from the Speak_ platform.
Create a Harvest API key
To configure the Speak_ integration, you’ll need to create a Harvest API key.
Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the Speak_ integration.
Credentials
In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:
- API Type: Harvest
- Partner: Speak_ or Unlisted Vendor
- Description: Speak_ Harvest API Key

Setting Up Speak_ Integration with Greenhouse
The Speak_ integration with Greenhouse is seamless and easy to use! Here’s how to set it up once you’ve copied your Greenhouse Harvest API Key:
Access your Speak_ account and navigate to the Settings tab located in the left-hand navigation bar.
Find and click on Connect next to the Greenhouse Integration option.
Paste your Greenhouse Harvest API Key into the designated field.
Then click the Connect button to establish the connection.
Initiate your initial data synchronization by clicking the Sync button and allow the process to complete.
You can now use Speak_ to evaluate your candidates for the roles that you choose.
Use the Speak_ integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
With the integration successfully set up, you can now leverage Speak_ to evaluate candidates for your chosen roles.
To begin, simply click on the Jobs tab in the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen.
Analyzing Candidates
Click on the specific role you want to evaluate candidates for. This action will open a modal containing the job description imported from Greenhouse Recruiting.
Customize the evaluation criteria by adding any additional signals you deem necessary for assessing applicants. These signals can include both hard requirements and nice-to-haves, and they are entirely customizable to your needs.
Once you've finalized the additional signals, click “Score this job”. The Speak_ AI will utilize the Greenhouse Integration to assess all applicants, assigning scores based on their suitability for the role. The system will then generate a list starting with the best matches.
Managing Candidates
You can click on any candidate to access more details about them. With the Speak_ Greenhouse integration, you can easily progress candidates through your hiring pipeline directly within the platform.
For further actions within Greenhouse, you can swiftly open a candidate’s profile in Greenhouse by clicking the “Open in Greenhouse” button.
