The Cactus Hire integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to seamlessly add Cactus assessments to a job's interview plan.
Set up the Cactus Hire integration
To begin setup, contact your Cactus representative at hello@cactushire.com to receive your API key from Cactus.
Once you have received your API key, follow the steps in this article to work with the Greenhouse Technical Support team and add the assessment stage in your interview plans.
Once you’ve set up your interview plans and configured your take home test, you’ll be able to send the test to candidates.
Configure the Cactus stage
Once the stage has been added to the job's interview plan, click Edit Take Home Test.
Use the provided drop-down menu to choose assessments that you have previously set up in Cactus.
Select the appropriate assessment and assign at least one Greenhouse user to grade/review submitted assessments. When finished, click Save.
Note: Remember that all assessment configuration is done within the Cactus dashboard.
Send and review the test
When candidates are moved into the Cactus interview stage, Greenhouse will display a Send Test link.
Note: When you send a test from Greenhouse Recruiting, the interview instructions are actually sent by Cactus.
Once the candidate has submitted their test, the status of the assessment will be viewable and the Interview Kit will contain a link to view the submitted test on Cactus.
Clicking the Interview Kit URL will redirect you to the full interview kit. To view the assessment results in Cactus, click View Report.
