Upwage screens applicants for any job instantly, saving high-volume recruiters and companies time and money.
Upwage’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows screener transcripts to be delivered immediately to recruiters and hiring managers directly in the candidate's application.
Set up the Upwage integration
Create a Harvest API key
To configure the Upwage integration, you’ll need to create a Harvest API key.
Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the Upwage integration.
Credentials
In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:
- API Type:Harvest
- Partner: Upwage or Unlisted Vendor
- Description: Upwage Harvest API Key

When finished, click Save.
Your Harvest API key for the Upwage integration is created and configured. Copy the API key to provide to Upwage in the next step.
Provide your API credentials to Upwage and finish setup
After you’ve created your API key, you’ll need to share your API credentials through Merge, a developer tool that allows us to connect your Upwage account to your Greenhouse Recruiting account through a secure connection.
To provide your API key, the Upwage team will share with you the link to connect the API key directly – it is a unique link for each customer.
Upon clicking the link, select Applicant Tracking System as your category.
Then, select Greenhouse as your integration.
When finished, click Continue.
The permissions set earlier when creating your Harvest API key is the access being requested.
Next, input your API key in the Enter the Greenhouse API key field and then, click Submit.
Your Upwage and Greenhouse accounts are now connected.
Use the Upwage integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
After enabling the Upwage integration, transcripts of screener conversations (i.e. Super Screener PDF) will be delivered directly into the candidate profile in Greenhouse Recruiting.
You can access these transcripts by viewing All attachments within the Details or Application tabs within the candidate profile.
To view an Upwage PDF, click the Super Screener PDF attachment.
The integration also adds a Candidate Tag to each candidate that has completed the screener, allowing you to easily see where each candidate is in the process.
In addition, the integration also changes the stage the applicant is in to show that they have completed the Upwage screener.
