The mark as spam feature allows your organization to reject a candidate application, mark the individual as spam and automatically reject any future application from the candidate's email address.
To mark as spam during Application Review, from the Application Review page, click the Ellipsis icon and select Reject as spam.
Note: This feature is only available if your organization has configured the Spam rejection reason to be visible.
The candidate will be rejected and marked as spam. Any future applications from the email address associated with the rejected application will also be automatically rejected.
You can also reject a candidate and prevent future applications from the email address by navigating to the candidate profile to select Reject. In the rejection pop-up, set the Rejection Reason drop-down as Spam.
If you later decide to remove the spam designation on the candidate, navigate to their candidate profile and change their rejection reason to anything other than Spam to allow them to apply again.
Note: If your organization continues to experience issues related to spam, contact Greenhouse Technical Support.
