Rather than repetitively performing the same action for multiple job posts like toggling on EEOC data or adjusting a custom question, your organization can bulk edit job posts to perform these changes simultaneously in one action.
Bulk edit internal or external job posts in bulk
To perform a bulk edit on internal or external job posts, click Jobs on your navigation bar, then select which jobs will be included in the bulk action by clicking the checkbox to the left of the job name.
When finished, click to Edit > External Job Posts or Internal Job Posts.
Note: Internal and external job posts cannot be edited in bulk together.
From the Bulk Edit Job Posts page, configure the components for every job post included in the bulk action. The page is divided into the following four tabs:
- Basic information
- Custom questions
- Job boards (only when editing external job posts)
- Settings
Click on any tab header to view and edit components in that section.
Check out the table below for a list of the available bulk actions and their impacts on job posts:
Bulk action | Impact |
Make optional for all job posts | Click the Ellipsis icon next to a field to make the field or response to a question optional for all jobs included in the bulk edit. |
Make required for all job posts | Click the Ellipsis icon next to a field to make the field or response to a question required for all jobs included in the bulk edit. |
Make hidden for all job posts | Click the Ellipsis icon next to a field to make the field or response to a question hidden for all jobs included in the bulk edit. Candidates will not know the field existed. |
Remove from all | Click the Delete icon to remove the question from all job posts included in the bulk edit. |
Edit question | Click the Edit icon next to a question to edit the question. Edits will be applied to all jobs that currently have the question. |
Add new question | Click Add New Question at the top of the page to add a new question to all job posts included in the bulk action. Custom questions added in bulk will be optional unless otherwise changed. |
Change job boards |
Use the Move All Posts To dropdown underneath the Job Boards tab and select an external job board to change the job board the job posts appear on. All jobs included in the bulk action will be moved to the selected job board. Note: This option is only available if editing external job posts. |
Note: Not every action in this table can be applied to every field. For instance, the First Name field will always be required and cannot be made hidden or optional.
When finished, click Save and Exit to confirm your work.
