Rather than repetitively performing the same action for multiple jobs like toggling on/off EEOC data or adjusting a custom question, etc... your organization can leverage the Bulk Edit Job Post feature to perform a single action to apply these changes. In this article, we will cover how to access the bulk edit job post page and outline the various actions that can be taken.
Note: Internal and external job posts can not be edited in bulk together.
To perform a bulk edit on internal or external job posts, click All Jobs on your navigation bar.
Navigate to the list of jobs and select which jobs will be included in the bulk action by clicking the checkbox to the left of the job name.
When finished, click either External Job Posts or Internal Job Posts.
From the subsequent Bulk Edit Job Posts page, configure the components for every job post included in the bulk action. The page is divided into four different tabs:
- Basic Information
- Custom Questions
- Job Boards
Click on any tab header to view and edit components in that section.
Below is a table of various bulk actions that can be performed from this page:
Note: Not every action in the below list can be applied to every single field. For instance, a candidate's First Name will always be required and cannot be made Hidden or Optional.
|Make Optional for All Job Posts||Click the ellipsis beside a field to make the information field or response to a question optional for all jobs included in the bulk edit.|
|Make Required for All Job Posts||Click the ellipsis beside a field to make the information field or response to a question required for all jobs included in the bulk edit.|
|Make Hidden for All Job Posts||Click the ellipsis beside a field to make the information field or response to a question hidden for all jobs included in the bulk edit. Candidates will not know the field existed.|
|Remove From All||Click the icon to remove the question from all job posts included in the bulk edit.|
|Edit Question||Click the Edit icon next to a question to edit the question. Edits will be applied to all jobs that currently have the question.|
|Add New Question||Click to add a new question to all jobs included in the bulk action. Custom Questions added in bulk will be optional unless otherwise changed.|
|Change Job Boards||
Use the Move All Posts To dropdown menu underneath the Job Boards tab and select an external job board. All jobs included in the bulk action will be moved to that job board.
Note: This is only available if editing external job posts.
When finished with the bulk edits, be sure sure to click Save and Exit to confirm your work.
