The rejection reasons report aggregates the rejection reasons selected when a candidate or prospect was rejected from a job. Capturing structured data around why a candidate or prospect was ultimately rejected from a job can impact the way your organization analyzes its recruiting efforts by revealing any potential trends that are keeping you from making a hire.
Rejection reasons report
Note: If your rejection reasons report only shows none specified, it's likely your organization hasn't enforced rejection reasons as a required field when users reject a candidate or prospect. Click here to learn more.
To create a rejection reasons report, click Reports on your navigation bar.
Click Essential reports on the left.
Scroll to the Learn from Past Recruiting Efforts section and click Rejection Reasons.
The rejection reasons report will generate.
The report will include information for the following:
- Rejection reasons
- Total rejections
- Percent rejected per rejection reason
Rejection reasons report filters
Click Filters and more to apply filters to further refine your report.
The rejection reasons report can be filtered by the following:
- Job
- Job status
- Department
- Office
- User
- Hiring team role
- Custom job field
- Date applied
- Stage
- Include migrated candidates
Use the Stage filter to show rejection reasons for candidates or prospects who were rejected in a particular stage.
Note: By default, the date applied field for the report is set to current year.
Click Apply after applying any filters.
