The Rejection Reasons report aggregates the rejection reasons selected when a candidate and/or prospect was rejected from a job. Capturing structured data around why a candidate or prospect was ultimately rejected from a job can impact the way your organization analyzes its recruiting efforts by revealing any potential trends that are keeping you from making a hire.
Note: If your Rejection Reasons report only shows None Specified, it is likely that your organization has not enforced rejection reasons as a required field when users reject a candidate and/or prospect. Click here to learn more.
To generate a Rejection Reasons report, click the ellipsis on your navigation bar and select Reports from the dropdown menu.
From the Reports page, navigate to the Learn from Past Recruiting Efforts section and click Rejection Reasons.
The report will list the rejection reasons that were selected for rejected candidates and/or prospects for jobs where you have access in the given time frame.
The Rejection Reasons report can be filtered by job, and/or a specific date range for when a candidate and/or prospect applied. By default, the Date Applied field for the report is set to Current Year.
Additionally, user the Stage Name filter to show rejection reasons for candidates and/or prospects who were rejected in a particular stage.
Apply any desired filters using the filter panel and click Apply to repopulate the report.
