Edit Interview Kits in Bulk

As your organization refines its hiring process over time, it is possible to find that multiple departments (or even across the entire organization) are creating very similar interviews and/or interview kits. In this article, we will cover how to edit interview kits across multiple jobs using the bulk edit feature.

To edit Interview Kits in bulk, click the All Jobs tab from your navigation bar and select Bulk Actions from the subsequent page.

Select all jobs that will be included in the bulk edit by placing a check in the column next to the job name. When finished, click Edit: Stages/Interviews.

From the subsequent page, you can perform the following actions across all the jobs include in the interview kit bulk edit: 

Note: Interview Kits will include a reference of how many jobs included in the bulk edit already have the specific Interview Kit (e.g. 2 of 3).

When you have finished editing the scorecards for all the jobs included in the bulk edit, click Save Changes.

Edit Name of Interview in Bulk

To edit the name of an interview for all jobs included in the bulk edit, navigate to a Stage on the Bulk Edit Stages/Interviews page and click the name of the Interview.

Use the provided field to edit the name of the Interview. When finished, click Screen_Shot_2018-11-20_at_11.05.43_AM.png to confirm the edit.

Add New interview in Bulk

To add a new Interview to a Stage for all jobs included in the bulk edit, navigate to a Stage and +interview.

Use the subsequent dialog box, to either:

  • Create a brand new Interview using the provided input text field
  • Select an Interview from the pre-populated list
  • Copy an Interview from another job

When finished, click Add. The Interview will be added to all jobs included in the bulk edit.

Note: Users can only copy Interviews from jobs where they currently have Job Admin level permissions or above.

Remove Interview Kit in Bulk

To remove an Interview from all jobs included in the bulk edit, hover over an Interview and click the ellipse. Click Remove from all from the dropdown menu.

Sync interview Kit

If every job included in the bulk edit has the same Interview in the same Stage, you can sync all the Interview Kits for that Interview so they are the same. To sync Interview Kits for an Interview, hover over an Interview and click the ellipse. Click Sync interview kits from the dropdown menu.

Note: Scheduled interviews are not deleted unless an interview kit is removed from a job. If an interview kit is updated or replaced, scheduled interviews will remain scheduled, but will be associated with the updated/replacement interview kit.

From the subsequent dialog box, select a single job whose Interview Kit will act as the template for all other jobs included in the bulk edit. The job selected will have it's Interview Kit for this particular Interview copied to all the other jobs. 

When finished, click Sync Interview Kits

From the subsequent dialog box, select a single job whose Interview Kit will act as the template for all other jobs included in the bulk edit. The job selected will have it's Interview Kit for this particular Interview copied to all the other jobs. 

When finished, click Sync Interview Kits

 

Add Existing Interview Kit to Another Job

If an Interview only exists for some jobs included in the bulk edit and you would like to add the Interview to all jobs included in the bulk edit, hover over the Interview and click the ellipse. 

Click Add to all + Sync interview kits from the dropdown menu.

From the subsequent dialog box, select a single job whose Interview Kit will act as the template for all other jobs included in the bulk edit. The job selected will have it's Interview Kit for this particular Interview copied to all the other jobs. 

When finished, click Sync Interview Kits

Reorder Interviews

To reorder Interviews for all jobs included in the bulk edit, drag and drop the Interviews within a stage into an order. This action will reorder the Interview relative to all the Interviews included in the bulk edit and will not necessarily reflect what the Interview flow will look like for an individual job.
