Confidential and private candidate information is sensitive or private sections of the candidate profile that contain specific personal or salary information.
User permissions for confidential candidate information
Private candidate information, such as application fields or private notes, are hidden from all users, except those with the following permissions:
- Job Admins with either of the following permission stripes:
- Can view and edit private candidate and application fields
- Can view and create private notes
- Site Admins with the user-specific permission Can see private notes, salary info, manage offers, request approval, and approve jobs/offers
Additionally, private offer fields are hidden under a second set of permissions. This separate permission helps organizations who want to grant Job Admins the ability to view one set of information, but not the other:
- Job Admins with the permission stripe Can view and edit offers and approve/request approval on offers
- Site Admins with the user-specific permission Can see private notes, salary info, manage offers, request approval, and approve jobs/offers
Note: A Job Admin's visibility depends on exactly which permission stripes they've been assigned. For example, if the user has only permission for Can view and edit private candidate and application fields, they'll be able to view private candidate fields, but not private notes.
