Users with Site Admin permissions can register your company's domain with Greenhouse, which are the first steps to remove "via Greenhouse" from emails sent by Greenhouse, and also improve deliverability of emails sent by Greenhouse.
Here are the steps to take:
- Click the Configure tab, or click the gear icon at the top of the page.
- Click Email Settings (or go to https://app.greenhouse.io/account/email_settings)
- Under Email Verification, enter your organization's email domain in the provided Register field. Your email domain is the part of your email address that appears after the '@' sign. In the example of "email@example.com", ghexample.com is the email domain. DO NOT use your whole email address (firstname.lastname@example.org), and DO NOT include the '@' sign (@ghexample.com).
- Click the Register button, which will display SPF and DKIM records that need to be added to your domain configuration by whoever manages the DNS for your email domain. Most likely, you should be able to pass this on to someone in your IT department, and they should know what to do. Click the Email Your I.T. Greenhouse will automatically check your company's DNS configuration to see if these records have been added. Once verification is complete, the yellow "..." icons will be replaced by green check marks, which means you're all set! You can view the records that have been added by clicking "Show verification details" under Step 2.
Please Note: If you get an error about your domain being invalid, your domain may already be registered with our email provider, Mailgun. Each domain can only be registered once with Mailgun, and it won't be possible to register your domain under Greenhouse's Mailgun account if it has already been registered.
