Enigma’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to seamlessly add Enigma’s assessments to a job's interview plan.
Set up the Enigma integration
Retrieve your Enigma API key
To begin integration setup, you'll need to retrieve your API key from Enigma.
Navigate to Enigma and access the dropdown in the top-right corner of your main dashboard. From the listed options, select Manage API Keys.
On the following Manage API Keys table, click Create API Key and use the Create Token form to name the key. When finished, click Generate Key.
You will be able to view your API Key once generated. Copy the key and securely store it for later use with integration setup in Greenhouse Recruiting.
Add the Enigma stage to your job's interview plan
Once the Enigma integration is enabled for your organization, you'll be able to add Enigma as an interview stage.
Follow the steps in this article to set up the assessment stage in your interview plans.
Use the Enigma integration
Send and review a test
After enabling the Enigma integration for your organization, you will be able to add the Enigma assessment as an interview stage to send the test to candidates.
When adding Enigma as an interview stage, you can select any of your Enigma assessments from the drop down.
You can send an assessment to a candidate by selecting the Send Test button next to the interview stage.
When sending the test, you can confirm which assessment you want to include along with the email of the candidate.
After it has been sent, an assessment’s status will display in Greenhouse Recruiting. When an assessment is sent but not completed or graded, it will appear as Sent.
Review assessment results
Once the candidate has submitted their test, the Interview Kit will contain a link to view the submitted test in the Enigma application.
To see a candidate’s results in Enigma, click View Report.
You'll be routed to the candidate’s assessment page in Enigma’s platform. The Assessment Results page will show each puzzle in the assessment.
When an assessment is ungraded by Enigma, you will see a graying Pending notice on the left hand side of the table under Score. Ungraded assessments can also be accessed to view the candidate’s response to each puzzle by clicking View Response.
When viewing the puzzle response, you will see a summary of the question and the same detailed instructions received by the candidate. The expected answer along with the candidate’s response and explanation will be enclosed within the results, as well.
When the assessment has been graded by Enigma, the percentage score will display on the far left of the Assessment Results table.
