Enable the Greenhouse Recruiting / Arctic Shores integration

Follow the steps in this article to retrieve your API key from your Arctic Shores contact and add the assessment stage in your interview plans.

Once you’ve set up your interview plans and configured your take home test, you’ll be able to invite candidates to take the assessment.

Use the Arctic Shores integration with Greenhouse Recruiting

To invite a candidate to take the Arctic Shores assessment, navigate to the job profile (Jobs > Job Name) and click Candidates from the left navigation bar.

Near the candidate's name, click Take Home Test to be sent, then click Send Test.

To invite multiple candidates to take the test, click Bulk actions.

Once candidates have been selected, click Edit Selected.

In the window that appears, click Send Tests.

Select a test from the dropdown, then enter the team members who will grade it. Click Send Test.

After the test is sent, the candidate's status changes to Waiting for candidate to submit test.

Tip: If you don't see a change in status, try refreshing your page.

The candidate then receives an email from Arctic Shores with a prompt to take the assessment.

After you send the test through Greenhouse Recruiting, the candidate appears in Arctic Shores.

Note: When you send a candidate an Arctic Shores assessment through Greenhouse Recruiting, the candidate is automatically registered in Arctic Shores.

Once the candidate has completed the assessment, their score is displayed in Greenhouse Recruiting. To see a candidate's score, navigate to the Candidates page (Jobs > Job Name > Candidates) and click Scorecard due.

Note: Scores are presented differently in Arctic Shores and Greenhouse Recruiting. In Arctic Shores, scores are stars and range from 0.5 to 4 stars (including half stars). In Greenhouse Recruiting, scores range from 1 to 8 and do not include half points. For example:

  • 0.5 star in Arctic Shores = 1 in Greenhouse Recruiting
  • 4 stars in Arctic Shores = 8 in Greenhouse Recruiting

To view a candidate's score in greater detail, click Arctic Shores below the candidate's name.

To see a candidate's results in Arctic Shores, click View Report.

Note: In the interview kit, Score represents the candidate's overall score. Any additional scores generated based on the set up of your assessment are listed below Score.

Scores for individual success criteria included in your assessment are displayed to the right of the Score column. Note that success criteria are measured by whole numbers ranging from 1 to 4.
