Diversely's platform helps you de-bias your recruitment processes, deliver a fair applicant journey and attract a more diverse talent pipeline globally. Three inclusive recruitment tools allow your hiring teams to write more appealing job ads, reach broader talent pools and screen applicants fairly. Set goals and track your diversity progress across five optional elements of diversity in your custom diversity dashboard – all in one platform.

Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Diversely allows to make diversity and inclusion a part of your recruitment processes on a daily basis, without extra time or effort.

Use the Diversely integration on Greenhouse Recruiting

Understanding the Greenhouse Recruiting / Diversely integration

The integration involves two types of data:

  • When you create a new job in Greenhouse Recruiting, the job and relevant job data (like location, salary, job ad) sync with your Diversely account. Similarly, if you make updates in Diversely, they sync to Greenhouse Recruiting.
  • Once you've reviewed applicants in Diversely's platform and closed your job, all applicant data, like name and CV, will be passed back into your Greenhouse Recruiting account. Similarly, if you've received applicants directly into Greenhouse Recruiting account you can also sync them into Diversely.

Sync jobs

You'll start your recruitment process from Greenhouse Recruiting. In your account, create a job and go through your usual steps from Job Info to Job Post. Make sure the new job is approved and includes all the relevant details like location, department, and salary.

Once your job post has been created, it will automatically sync (every few minutes or so) with your Diversely account.

Head over to your Diversely account jobs overview in the menu to find a new line item created.

New jobs retrieved through the integration will initially be inactive in Diversely. This is because you don't have to use your Diversely job credits for every job – it's up to you. Simply activate the jobs that you'd like to use your Diversely inclusive recruitment tools on using the toggle.

Once your job has been activated, you'll be able to see all your job details and use the Diversely tools similarly to how you would do on a manually added job.

In your Diversely account, you can now take your activated job through four inclusive recruitment steps:

  1. Start recruiting inclusively: How have you defined your job requirements, including job and contract type, skills and benefits? Check your inclusivity score and make adjustments to open up your talent pool.
  2. Write an appealing job ad: Discover how appealing your advert is in terms of language and structure by running the bias analyser. Make improvements to increase your score and appeal to under-represented talent.
  3. Increase your reach: Discover our recommended job boards, given your location, industry and diversity dashboard. Create and connect your job board accounts to post out quickly and easily.
  4. Screen without bias: Review anonymised applicant profiles to avoid unconscious bias creeping in. Rate, leave feedback and shortlist or reject applicants in your Diversely account.

Sync applicants

To pass all of your applicants from Diversely into your Greenhouse Recruiting account, you'll have to make sure three things are in place:

  1. The due date of the job has passed. You can find this information in the 'Start recruiting inclusively' step. The date prescribes until when applicants can still apply. Once this date has passed, you can close your job.
  2. All applicants for the job have either been shortlisted or rejected based on their anonymised profile. You can find this information in the 'Screen without bias' step.
  3. After the previous two points are completed, the 'Close job' button will be enabled. From here you can finally close your job and an option to export excel data will become available too.

Your applicants will automatically be passed from Diversely into your Greenhouse Recruiting account once you've closed your job.

Once a job is closed, applicants will sync to your Greenhouse Recruiting account within a few minutes.

Candidate data is fully populated including contact details and CVs. Candidates will be assigned to the relevant jobs and have default status of 'Converted' if selected or 'Rejected' if not selected.

From here you can follow your usual workflow in Greenhouse Recruiting. Diversely will ask who you've hired in a few weeks' time to make sure your Diversity Dashboard is up to date – not just for applicants who applied or were shortlisted, but all the way through to the diversity of who you've hired!

Your diversity data can be viewed at any time across your job applicants, or for a specific country or department, in your Diversity Dashboard on Diversely. It's also possible to export your diversity data in an excel file, in case you'd need to use the data outside of Diversely.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of your Diversity Dashboard to find and click the Export button. The excel file will automatically open in your downloaded files.

Your job and applicant data can also be exported into an excel file, for your use outside of your Diversely account. You can export data for each job once you've closed the job.
