For guidance on content best practices, Puck hosts will guide you on how to tell your story to make the biggest impact on your recruiting process.
Puck's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows users to publish their Greenhouse job posts on a Puck-hosted career site, with applications submitted through the Greenhouse application form.
Configure the Puck Career Sites integration
Your Puck account management team will share onboarding instructions specific to your company and offer live support during setup.
Update your job board URL to your career site URL
To make your open jobs available to Puck, update your Job Board URL to match your career site URL.
Navigate to Configure > Job Boards & Posts, click the ellipsis icon next to your job board, select Edit Board Settings > Dev Center and scroll to the URL field. This article walks through locating your job board URL in more detail.
Update your job post URL
- On the same page, set the Job post URL to the value Puck provides during onboarding, for example:
https://app.careerpuck.com/job-board/example/job/:id - Make sure Display description/title on job application is unchecked.
- In the yellow banner at the top of the page, click Update tracking links to URL below so the banner shows "All tracking links currently point to:" followed by your career site URL.
Connect Puck to Greenhouse with Harvest v3 (optional)
A Harvest v3 connection is optional for Career Sites. It must be authorized by a Greenhouse Recruiting user with Site Admin permissions.
- Log in to Puck and navigate to Settings > ATS Set Up.
- Click Connect Greenhouse. If your organization already used an earlier Greenhouse connection with Puck, the button reads Switch to Greenhouse v3.
- You'll be redirected to Greenhouse. Sign in with your Greenhouse admin email and follow the prompts to authorize Puck.
- Return to Puck and refresh the page. The ATS Set Up page will show Greenhouse v3 as connected.
- To confirm in Greenhouse, navigate to Configure > Dev Center > Connections. Puck appears in the partner-managed connections section, not in the Harvest v3 API credentials list.
Fields Puck writes to Greenhouse (optional Harvest v3 connection)
Puck creates or updates the following in Greenhouse through Harvest v3:
- Application stage: moves an application to the next interview stage.
- Application rejection: rejection reason and notes, plus the rejection email template, send time, and sender when a rejection email is chosen.
- New prospects: first name, last name, email address, phone number, and LinkedIn URL.
- Email notes: logs emails sent from Puck to the candidate's activity feed (subject, body, sender, and recipients).
- AI Interview notes: posts the AI Interview score, reviewer name, and review notes to the candidate's activity feed.
Use the Puck Career Sites integration
Publish a job to your Puck career site
Once setup is complete, any job post you publish to your Greenhouse job board appears on your Puck career site automatically, alongside the team stories and audio your Puck host helped you create. Closing or unpublishing the job post in Greenhouse removes it from the career site.
How candidates apply
When a candidate clicks Apply on your Puck career site, they complete the standard Greenhouse application form. Their application lands in Greenhouse Recruiting like any other job board application.
