DreamTeam unifies all the data across HR tools you already use and displays it via fully customizable dashboards that always reflect the most up-to-date information. This allows stakeholders (HR teammates, hiring managers, leadership) to make strategic decisions instead of digging through data.

Greenhouse Recruiting’s integration with DreamTeam’s Hiring Intelligence Platform empowers companies to ask questions and get answers about their hiring processes to build data-driven talent acquisition teams.

Configure the DreamTeam integration

Before you start

  • A DreamTeam admin account in your workspace.
  • A Greenhouse Site Admin
  • Your Greenhouse URL: the address in your browser while you are signed in to Greenhouse, such as https://app2.greenhouse.io or https://s101.recruiting.eu.greenhouse.io.

Connect

In DreamTeam, open Settings > Integrations and select Greenhouse.

In Greenhouse URL, paste the address from your Greenhouse browser tab. DreamTeam keeps only the host, so a full page URL is fine.

The Greenhouse connect form in DreamTeam, with the Greenhouse URL field

Click Connect. Greenhouse opens its authorization page.

Sign in to Greenhouse if asked and review the read-only permissions DreamTeam requests. Keep Authorize using a service account checked, so the connection belongs to your organization and doesn't stop if your own Greenhouse user is removed. Then click Authorize.

Greenhouse returns you to DreamTeam. The Greenhouse page now shows the integration as connected, with Authentication: Harvest V3 OAuth.

DreamTeam starts syncing your Greenhouse data automatically after you connect. You don't choose jobs or map fields.

Data DreamTeam reads

DreamTeam reads 14 kinds of Greenhouse records through Harvest V3, every hour, and maps each one into its own recruiting data. Nothing flows back into Greenhouse, so there are no fields to map on the Greenhouse side.

  • History: the first sync reads the last 2 years. After that, each hourly sync reads only records changed since the previous one.
  • Jobs: all jobs are synced. There is no job selection.
  • Attachments: the sync downloads no resumes or other attachments.
  • Rate limits: DreamTeam sends at most 60 requests every 30 seconds and backs off when Greenhouse returns Retry-After or a low X-RateLimit-Remaining.

How often does data update? Every hour. A change made in Greenhouse shows in DreamTeam after the next hourly sync.

Which Greenhouse URL do I enter? The address in your browser while signed in to Greenhouse, such as https://app2.greenhouse.io, or https://s101.recruiting.eu.greenhouse.io for EU accounts. DreamTeam uses it to link each candidate back to your Greenhouse account.

Does DreamTeam read demographic data? Yes. It reads EEOC responses (gender, race, disability status, veteran status) for its EEOC reporting. Your Greenhouse permissions still decide whether candidates are asked for them.

What happens if I remove DreamTeam's access in Greenhouse? DreamTeam's hourly sync stops, and your DreamTeam data stops updating. Disconnect and connect again in DreamTeam to restore it.
