Save time and improve consistency in reporting
Report templates allow you to drive a consistent framework for reporting so everyone is measuring, iterating, and improving your processes based on the same metrics. Your recruiting teams can save time by using report templates, rather than having to create reports from scratch. Once a report template is created, people in your organization can create reports from the template with Report Builder.
Create a report template
To create a report template, you'll first create or open an existing custom report with Report Builder.
To begin, click Reports on your navigation bar.
Choose an existing saved report from My reports or click Create > Report template.
On the subsequent page, choose a starting point for building your custom report. Consider what specific question you aim to answer with the data from your report, and select or search for the report you wish to use as your starting point. Then click Customize.
On the next page, use the Settings on the left to edit your report's configuration. Depending on the template you selected, you might see options to adjust the report's columns, metrics, chart type, timeframe, or other configurations. Add and remove columns to layer the data as you need.
You can further refine the report's data using Filters on the right side of the page. To add a filter, click Filters.
Then click + Add Filter.
Report Builder allows you to apply and layer multiple filters. For additional filters, click + Add Filter again.
To learn more about configuring filters on Report Builder, click here.
When you're finished editing the filters, columns, and metrics on your report, click Run Report.
Your custom report will generate. You can now save your report as a report template for others to use by selecting Save > Save as template.

Your report template is now created and configured! Others in your organization will be able to create a report using your report template.
