Real Links is an employee referral platform that enables end-to-end, referral-driven hiring.
Real Links' integration with Greenhouse Recruiting keeps jobs, applications, and hiring stages in sync across both systems, so that:
- Jobs shown in Real Links match your Greenhouse roles
- Applications submitted in Real Links (including answers to screening questions) arrive correctly in Greenhouse
- Application status changes in Greenhouse flow back into Real Links
- Referral information is attached to applications in Greenhouse
Configure the Real Links integration
A Greenhouse Site Admin completes the connection.
Your Real Links contact will send you a secure connection link.
Open the link. You'll be taken to Greenhouse, where you can review the permissions the integration requests, then log in with your Greenhouse credentials.
Choose "Authorize using a service account". This creates an organization-level Greenhouse integration service user (ISU) that owns the connection. For more detail, see: Connect to Harvest v3 partner integrations.
If prompted, complete the setup flow to map any custom fields for your account.
Once authorised, data begins syncing between Greenhouse and Real Links.
Data Real Links adds or edits in Greenhouse
When a referral is submitted, Real Links creates the candidate and application in Greenhouse against the selected job and adds a note with the referrer's details.

Use the Real Links integration
Jobs from Greenhouse in Real Links
Open roles are pulled from Greenhouse and shown in Real Links with their data (title, location, department), so employees can browse and refer to them. Which fields display, and how they're grouped, is configured per account.
Applying, including screening questions
When a candidate applies via Real Links, the application is created in Greenhouse. Where a role has screening/custom questions configured, they are pulled from Greenhouse, rendered on the Real Links application form, and the candidate's answers pushed back to Greenhouse.
Application status syncing
As an application moves through your Greenhouse hiring stages, the status syncs back into Real Links. In Admin > Integrations, Greenhouse stages are mapped to Real Links' statuses (Created, Interviewed, Hired, Rejected) which drives progress tracking, analytics and referral rewards.
Referral information in Greenhouse
When a candidate applies via a referral link, the referrer's name and email — plus their introduction/note if provided — are attached to the application in Greenhouse as a note.
