Landing.Jobs is a tech hiring marketplace for Europe. Companies post their roles to Landing.Jobs's community of software engineers, data specialists and other tech professionals. Every application is screened by the Landing.Jobs team before it reaches the employer, so you review candidates who already match the role.
Landing.Jobs's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to send screened candidates from Landing.Jobs into a Greenhouse job as candidates with an attached CV and a screening note, and to keep each candidate's Greenhouse stage and status visible in Landing.Jobs as your team moves them through your pipeline.
Configure the Landing.Jobs integration
You connect the integration from Landing.Jobs. You need:
- a Landing.Jobs company account with permission to manage integrations
- a Greenhouse account that is a site admin, or that can manage all of your organization's API credentials
Note: You can connect only one applicant tracking system to Landing.Jobs at a time. If you already have another one connected, disconnect it first.
- Sign in to Landing.Jobs and go to Company settings, then Integrations.
- Find Greenhouse in the list of integrations and select Connect.
- Sign in to Greenhouse and review the permissions the integration asks for.
- Choose how to authorize the integration. The service account option is recommended — it creates an account that belongs to your organization rather than to one person, so the integration keeps working when people join or leave your team. If you authorize with your own account instead, everything the integration does appears as if you did it. Both options are explained in Connect to Harvest v3 partner integrations.
- Select Authorize. Greenhouse returns you to Landing.Jobs, which confirms that Greenhouse is connected.
Permissions the integration requests
The integration uses the Harvest API v3. Greenhouse groups the permissions it asks for as follows. Expand any group on the authorization screen to see the detail.
| Group | Permission | Why Landing.Jobs needs it |
| Candidates and prospects | Candidates: create | create the candidate and their application on the paired job |
| Candidates and prospects | Attachments: create | attach the candidate's CV to the application |
| Candidates and prospects | Notes: create | add the Landing.Jobs screening note to the candidate |
| Applications | Applications: list | read the stage and status of applications it created, to keep Landing.Jobs up to date |
| Jobs and openings | Jobs: list | show your open Greenhouse jobs so you can pair them with Landing.Jobs jobs |
| Integrations | Webhooks: create | register webhooks so Landing.Jobs learns about changes as they happen |
| Integrations | Webhooks: delete | remove those webhooks when you disconnect the integration |
Landing.Jobs only reads and writes candidates and applications that it created. It does not change your jobs, your stages or candidates from other sources.
Pair a Greenhouse job with a Landing.Jobs job
Before you can send candidates, pair each Landing.Jobs job with the Greenhouse job that should receive them.
- In Landing.Jobs, open the job you want to pair.
- Select the option to pair the job with Greenhouse.
- Choose the Greenhouse job from the list of your open jobs and select Pair.
- Leave "Automatically export candidates" selected if you want Landing.Jobs to send each candidate as soon as the Landing.Jobs team finishes screening them. Clear it if you prefer to send candidates yourself.
Note: A Landing.Jobs job can only send candidates to the Greenhouse job it is paired with. Candidates from unpaired jobs stay in Landing.Jobs.
Use the Landing.Jobs integration
Send a candidate to Greenhouse
The Landing.Jobs team screens every application before you see it. Once a candidate reaches your Landing.Jobs inbox, you can send them to Greenhouse.
- In Landing.Jobs, open the candidate's application.
- In the Greenhouse Integration panel, select Export to ATS.
- Landing.Jobs confirms the export and the panel then shows the candidate's Greenhouse stage and the time of the last sync.
If you left "Automatically export candidates" selected when pairing the job, Landing.Jobs sends each candidate as soon as the Landing.Jobs screening finishes, and you do not need to do anything.
In Greenhouse, the candidate appears on the paired job with their CV attached and a note containing the Landing.Jobs screening summary.
Fields Landing.Jobs sends to Greenhouse
| Landing.Jobs | Greenhouse |
| First name | First name |
| Last name | Last name |
| Headline | Title |
| Phone number | Phone number, type "other" |
| Email address | Email address, type "other" |
| Social profiles | Social media URLs |
| Personal and other websites | Website URLs |
| City and country | Address, type "other" |
| Paired Greenhouse job | The job the application is created on |
| CV | Attachment on the application, type "resume" |
| Screening summary | Public note on the candidate |
The screening note includes whichever of these Landing.Jobs holds for the candidate: who exported them, the Landing.Jobs rating, their application letter, their skills, Landing.Jobs's screening notes, their answers to your application questions, their education, and their visa status.
Keep candidate status in sync
Landing.Jobs keeps each exported candidate up to date in three ways:
- When you move, hire or reject the candidate in Greenhouse, Greenhouse notifies Landing.Jobs and Landing.Jobs updates the candidate within moments.
- Landing.Jobs also re-checks exported candidates several times a day, so nothing is missed if a notification does not arrive.
- You can select Sync on the candidate's Greenhouse Integration panel in Landing.Jobs to update them immediately.
If you reject a candidate in Greenhouse, Landing.Jobs closes their application and tells them the outcome, so you do not have to reject them twice.
Disconnect the integration
- In Landing.Jobs, go to Company settings, then Integrations.
- Select Disconnect next to Greenhouse and confirm.
Landing.Jobs removes the webhooks it registered in your Greenhouse account and stops sending and reading candidates. You can also review or revoke Landing.Jobs's access from Greenhouse, under Configure, then Dev Center, then Connected Integrations. Candidates already in Greenhouse stay there. Your job pairings and export history remain in Landing.Jobs, so reconnecting restores the setup.
Troubleshooting
If Landing.Jobs shows that the Greenhouse integration stopped working, your authorization has expired or been revoked. Go to Company settings, then Integrations, and connect Greenhouse again. Your job pairings and export history are kept.
If a candidate does not reach Greenhouse, check that their Landing.Jobs job is paired with a Greenhouse job and that the Greenhouse job is open. Greenhouse refuses candidates on jobs that are closed, archived or still a draft.
