Dado is an employee experience platform designed to automate, personalize, and optimize every stage of the employee lifecycle. It helps HR teams, IT, hiring managers and other stakeholders save hundreds of hours by transforming messy people processes into flexible, trackable, automated journeys. From a new hire's first day to their last, Dado ensures seamless and engaging interactions that are tailored to each individual.

The platform uses employee data, deep integrations and AI to run a customized version of every process—including pre-onboarding, promotions, and off-boarding—through personalized messages, automated tasks, and behind-the-scenes actions. This automation ensures a consistent and compliant experience at scale, while also tracking completion so you don't have to. Dado empowers employees with self-service options and equips HR with actionable data allowing your team to focus on strategic initiatives and a truly great employee experience.

Dado's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows users to sync new hires to the Dado platform, so they can be enrolled in automated preboarding and onboarding processes.

Configure the Dado integration

In the Dado platform, navigate to Integrations and click on the Greenhouse tile.

Click the blue Connect with Greenhouse button. You will be taken to Greenhouse and asked to connect your Dado and Greenhouse accounts, including accepting the kinds of Greenhouse data Dado needs to access:

  • Users
  • Candidates
  • Applications
  • Jobs
  • Offers
  • Custom fields

Dado's access to Greenhouse data is read only; it will not update any data in Greenhouse.

Check the Authorize using a service account checkbox, then click the blue Authorize button.

Specify which data from Greenhouse you want to import into Dado. Choose the Greenhouse field you'd like to import in the left-hand column, then select the corresponding Dado field in the right-hand column.

Dado requires that you import at least the candidate's name and personal email address. Dado also strongly recommends importing start date, job title, and any other data points you'd want to use in the segmentation or personalization of your Dado experience.

When you've finished, click the blue Add source button in the bottom right.

The next time Dado imports data from all import sources, Greenhouse data will be imported. Imports can be triggered automatically on a schedule, or manually. Please see the Dado help center for more details on how to run imports.

Use the Dado integration

Once you have set up the integration between Dado and Greenhouse and added Greenhouse as an import source, candidates marked as hired in Greenhouse can be imported into Dado:

Once imported, the data you specify about newly-hired workers is saved in the Dado database. You can set up Dado experiences (such as preboarding and onboarding) to automatically enroll these individuals, based on criteria you specify. For instance, you could have a separate onboarding for different employment types, departments or locations. For more information about setting these criteria, see this help article.
