The hackajob integration with Greenhouse Recruiting enables seamless, bi-directional synchronization of candidate data and stage updates between both systems.
Configure the hackajob integration
To begin setup, navigate to Integration Settings and select Connect. Follow the prompts to establish the connection.
Log in with your Greenhouse account and authorize the requested integration scopes. We recommend selecting Authorize using a service account to complete the setup.

To complete configuration, open the Source tab, select Add ATS configuration, and link your hackajob role to the corresponding Greenhouse job. Map each hackajob interview stage to its matching ATS step to ensure accurate data sync.
Use the hackajob integration
Access your hackajob role via the Source tab to browse candidates. When you invite a candidate to interview in a mapped stage, they will be automatically synced to Greenhouse.
As part of the integration, hackajob performs the following actions and manages candidate data in Greenhouse:
- Create candidates: Syncs candidate contact details, CVs, and hackajob profile links directly into Greenhouse.
- Stage updates: Automatically updates and transitions candidate interview stages across both platforms.
- Status management: Synchronizes key actions including candidate rejections, withdrawals, and marking candidates as hired.
The integration maps key entities between hackajob and Greenhouse:
- Jobs: Maps the hackajob Job Role / Title to the corresponding Greenhouse Job.
- Stages: Maps each hackajob interview stage (e.g., Application, Screening Rounds, Technical Test) to the specific, matching ATS stage in Greenhouse.
Once configured, any updates to candidate stages, offers, hires, and rejections or withdrawals in hackajob or Greenhouse will automatically sync, ensuring both platforms remain up-to-date.
