JobNav Recruiter (formerly known as Datapeople) integrates securely with Greenhouse via a bidirectional API connection, eliminating manual copy-paste workflows and syncing job content seamlessly. Role-based permissions mirror your Greenhouse setup, giving teams access only to what they need, while enabling seamless collaboration across hiring managers, recruiters, and compliance. Data-driven analytics dashboards deliver actionable insights into job content performance, compliance risks, and process bottlenecks - empowering leaders to optimize hiring outcomes at scale.
Configure the JobNav Recruiter integration
Log in to your JobNav account at app.datapeople.io and select Connect Greenhouse under the settings dropdown menu in the top right.
Click Connect Greenhouse.
Add your email and click Log in to Greenhouse.
Check Authorize using a service account and click Authorize. Learn more about service accounts here.
Note: You may encounter an Account Maintenance screen in JobNav Recruiter while the integration is in progress. You will be notified when setup is complete.
The JobNav Recruiter integration pushes updates to Job Post content and therefore requires update permissions only for Job Posts.
Use the JobNav Recruiter integration
Once setup is complete, you can use the JobNav Recruiter integration to sync job post edits and to sync user permissions between the two platforms.
Sync job post edits between JobNav Recruiter and Greenhouse Recruiting
Greenhouse Recruiting will accept edits to your job posts made in JobNav Recruiter with just a couple of clicks.
While viewing a Greenhouse Recruiting draft job on JobNav Recruiter, make the appropriate job post edits, then click Sync. Click Sync Job With Greenhouse to confirm your changes.
The job title and job description will export from JobNav Recruiter and sync your updates in Greenhouse Recruiting.
You can view updates in Greenhouse immediately. One way to quickly navigate there is using the deep link to the job which you can find under the Greenhouse menu by clicking Open in Greenhouse.
Note: JobNav Recruiter automatically checks Greenhouse Recruiting every 20 minutes and syncs jobs, job descriptions and job statuses.
Sync users and permissions between Greenhouse Recruiting and JobNav Recruiter
User permissions on JobNav Recruiter, including the ability to see and edit jobs, are inherited from Greenhouse Recruiting.
Note: When creating a user account on JobNav Recruiter, you must use the same email that you use to access Greenhouse Recruiting in order for permissions syncing to occur.
