Mokka is an AI recruitment platform that screens, scores, and shortlists your candidates, so your team interviews only the people worth their time. Mokka's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting lets you connect your Greenhouse account in a few clicks. Once connected, Mokka automatically imports your open jobs and their candidates, scores and shortlists them, and updates candidate stages back in Greenhouse as you move them forward. There is no Harvest API key to create or paste. Beyond screening, Mokka also sources passive candidates from 850M+ profiles and 250+ job boards, adding them to your pipeline.
Before you begin
Connect Mokka from a Greenhouse account with Site Admin permissions; approving the connection requires admin access. You only need to connect once per Greenhouse account.
Configure the Mokka integration
In Mokka, go to Settings and open the ATS tab.
Under Select ATS, choose Greenhouse. Mokka shows what happens next: "You will be redirected to Greenhouse to authorize Mokka. After you approve, we bring you back here and start syncing your jobs and candidates." Click Continue.

On the Greenhouse authorization screen, review the access Mokka requests, enter your Greenhouse email, and click Log in to Greenhouse to approve.

After you approve, Greenhouse returns you to Mokka and the connection is active.

Mokka reads your jobs and candidates, and writes back stage changes: when you advance, hire, or reject a candidate in Mokka, the matching application is updated in Greenhouse.
Use the Mokka integration
Once connected, Mokka imports your Greenhouse jobs and their candidates and keeps them in sync.
As soon as you connect, Mokka starts importing your roles, and confirms that Greenhouse is connected and your roles are importing.

Your Greenhouse jobs then appear in Mokka's role list. New roles you open in Greenhouse show up in Mokka automatically. Pick a role, and Mokka scores and shortlists its candidates for you.

Field-level detail
From Greenhouse to Mokka (inbound):
- Job → Mokka role: job title, job post(s), and status.
- Candidate → Mokka candidate: first and last name, email, and phone.
- Application → Mokka candidate: résumé/CV attachment, cover letter, screening question answers (the candidate's application question-and-answer responses), source, and current stage.
- Job and interview stages → Mokka pipeline stages: stage names and order.
Mokka then scores and shortlists each candidate. The Mokka score is generated by Mokka and is not read from Greenhouse.
From Mokka to Greenhouse (write-back):
- Advance a candidate in Mokka → the matching application is moved to the corresponding stage in Greenhouse.
- Hire in Mokka → the application is moved to the hired stage in Greenhouse.
- Reject in Mokka → the application is rejected in Greenhouse with a rejection reason.
Mokka adds a note to the Greenhouse candidate that links to their Mokka profile.
