Zelt is a software application you can use to automate HR and IT tasks in your company. You can onboard new joiners, run payroll, manage holidays, and automate IT tasks in a single system — from providing laptops to setting up accounts across your cloud applications. This saves you time and money, and is more secure.
Zelt's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to automatically import successful hires to Zelt and send them into the desired onboarding flow at the right time — automatically.
Configure the Zelt integration
Authorize Zelt via OAuth 2.0
To begin, navigate to Zelt and open the Apps tab. Locate Greenhouse and click Connect.
You will be redirected to the Greenhouse OAuth authorization screen. Review the requested permissions and click Accept to grant Zelt access to your Greenhouse Recruiting account.
OAuth scopes requested
The following scopes are requested during the OAuth flow. These are read-only and cannot be modified; they reflect the minimum permissions Zelt requires to operate the integration:

Once you accept the OAuth authorization, Zelt is connected to your Greenhouse Recruiting account and ready to use.
Configure your onboarding flow in Zelt
Navigate to Greenhouse Settings in Zelt to configure how successful hires are imported and which onboarding template is applied. You can choose between manual onboarding or scheduled synchronization.

Set up automated onboarding with Zelt
Once a successful hire is sent to an automated onboarding flow, you can track the progress of your new joiner in the Onboarding section of your Zelt account.
Click on the employee name to see all completed and remaining tasks assigned to them. You can also send reminders directly from the HR Admin Onboarding lobby.
Manually onboard candidates in Zelt
Start by going to the Greenhouse app in Zelt. You will find it under Company connected apps.
Navigate to the Candidates tab inside the Greenhouse app.
Select a successful candidate you would like to onboard manually. Provide their preferred work email address, select the required Onboarding flow from the drop-down, and click Onboard.
All existing candidate details from Greenhouse will be pre-populated in the first step of the onboarding flow. You can review and confirm the job title, start date, salary, and any other information provided in Greenhouse before completing onboarding in Zelt.
As a final step, you can choose to invite the new hire to onboard immediately, or save as a draft to complete later.
The onboarding lobby will be automatically populated with the selected tasks from the chosen onboarding workflow, giving you a quick overview of any remaining to-dos and onboarding tasks.
