Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Betts Connect allows you to find and pitch candidates in the Connect marketplace and seamlessly push interested candidates to Greenhouse Recruiting to follow your standard interview and hiring process. As a candidate moves through the job workflow in Greenhouse Recruiting, updates are automatically reflected back to Betts Connect.
Configure the Betts Connect integration
To authenticate the integration, use the OAuth 2.0 flow in Betts Connect. Start from the Betts Connect integration settings and select Greenhouse.
Click the Connect with Greenhouse button to begin the OAuth authorization flow.
Check the Authorize using a service account checkbox (this option is only visible to site admins — ensure you are logged in as a site admin), then click Authorize to grant the required permissions to the Greenhouse app.
Once the Disconnect and Test buttons appear, your OAuth connection has been successfully established.
Click the Test button to confirm Betts Connect can connect to your Greenhouse account and that webhooks are set up correctly. A green checkmark confirms everything is set up correctly.
Use the Betts Connect integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
The Betts Connect integration provides the following benefits:
- Some job requirements are pulled from Greenhouse Recruiting when creating a job in Betts Connect.
- Candidates are added automatically to Greenhouse Recruiting when they accept your pitch request in Betts Connect.
- Updates are made automatically to candidate job stage information in Betts Connect as they move through your Greenhouse Recruiting hiring process.
Once the integration is configured, most of the work happens behind the scenes. After enabling the integration, when you create a new job (or edit an existing job) in Betts Connect, you can select the associated job in Greenhouse Recruiting. As candidates accept your pitch requests for linked jobs, the candidates will be added to the associated job in Greenhouse Recruiting. As candidates move through your hiring process in Greenhouse Recruiting, the webhooks you configured will send updates back to Betts Connect about the candidates' progress.
