Scheduling windows control how far into the future candidates can schedule interviews. You can customize these settings across different scheduling workflows to support your team’s scheduling preferences.

Note: Scheduling windows include weekends, holidays, and other non-business days. Scheduling windows also don't account for interviewer paid time off (PTO).

Configure the scheduling window for self-scheduling

When sending a self-schedule link to a candidate, you can adjust the scheduling window before sending the request. Depending on the setting you choose, the candidate will only be able to schedule interviews within the configured range.

The default scheduling window is 30 days.

Select Send a self-schedule request from the candidate profile.

Scroll to the Scheduling window section, and choose either a Rolling window or Custom date range.

The scheduling window is also included when checking interviewer availability. Dates and times outside of the configured window won't appear as available when selecting Check availability.

Configure the availability windows for stage transition rules

When configuring a self-schedule request through a stage transition rule, only rolling scheduling windows are available. Custom date ranges can't be used because the stage transition rule may send the scheduling request after the configured date range has already passed.

The rolling scheduling window begins when the candidate opens the self-schedule request. You can adjust the number of days included in the window before enabling the stage transition rule.

Sending candidate availability requests

Availability requests can also use scheduling windows to control when candidates can submit availability. When a scheduling window is configured, candidates can only select dates within the range you set.

To configure a scheduling window for an availability request, scroll to the Scheduling window section and choose either a Rolling window or Custom date range.

Customize availability for scheduling links

Adjusting the scheduling window allows you to control when recipients can use your link to schedule meetings.

You can configure the scheduling window when creating a new link or editing an existing one.

If you choose a rolling scheduling window, the available dates adjust based on when the recipient opens the link. If you choose a custom date range, the link becomes inactive after the end date passes.
