The Predictive Index’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to seamlessly add behavioral assessments and cognitive assessments to a job's interview plan.

Enable the Predictive Index integration

An Organization Admin within The Predictive Index will be able to enable the Greenhouse integration by following the below steps. Navigate to Administration>Integrations, and within the Greenhouse card click Configure:

The Predictive Index needs to associate the integration with a software user who has Organization Admin privileges. Select the appropriate Organization Admin user from the dropdown:

Once selected, click Authorize Greenhouse:

This will navigate the user into Greenhouse, where they will need to authenticate into Greenhouse using their Greenhouse credentials:

After authenticating, determine whether you want to create a service account to associate The Predictive Index integration with. If so, tick the “Authorize using a service account” box. If not, you can bypass that step and the integration will be associated with the account of the Greenhouse user performing this action. Then select Authorize:

Once authorized, you will be redirected to The Predictive Index, where you can click the “Setup” button. This button creates the needed Greenhouse Job & Candidate custom fields, as well as the needed Webhooks.

The Predictive Index’s default integration with Greenhouse triggers the integration based on a candidate stage change. However, we do have the ability to trigger the integration upon the submission of a candidate’s application. If that is the preferred configuration, select the “Include New Application Webhook” box to create the needed Greenhouse webhook. Then click Confirm:

Once confirmed, the Greenhouse configuration screen within The Predictive Index is complete and the integration is ready to use.

Once the Predictive Index integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add PI’s behavioral assessments and/or cognitive assessments within the Job Info section of Greenhouse:

Once you have selected which which assessment(s) to send to a candidate, you then associate this Greenhouse job with the PI job you want to score this candidate’s results against:

Within the Greenhouse Interview Plan, create a stage called “Send PI Assessments” - moving a candidate into that specific stage is what will trigger the integration with PI:

Note: When you send an assessment in Greenhouse Recruiting, the invitation/instructions are actually sent by The Predictive Index.

After it has been sent, an assessment’s status will display in the Greenhouse Recruiting activity feed.

Once the candidate has submitted their assessment, PI populates candidate custom fields with assessment results, as well as attaches the Candidate Insights Packet as a PDF to the candidate record in Greenhouse.
