Ad Sync is SEEK’s newest effortless job posting solution, enabling you to post quality job ads to SEEK using a feed from Greenhouse. It automates the ad posting process while giving you control and flexibility.
You can:
- Mandate ad selection rules to centrally manage your budget
- Post quality ads by leveraging SEEK’s AI to pre- fill job ad fields
- Manage branding across all SEEK ads or per sub brand
Enable the Greenhouse Recruiting / SEEK Ad Sync integration
To enable the SEEK Ad Sync integration, first contact your SEEK account manager to active it for your account. Once that’s completed, navigate to Greenhouse and click the Configure icon on your navigation bar, then click Job Boards & Posts on the left.
Click the Ellipsis icon beside your job board and select Edit Board Settings from the dropdown.
Scroll to Allow candidates to apply directly from “SEEK Ad Sync”, check the box and click Save.
When finished, click Save.
Setting rules
In SEEK, rules are set using the following:
- Role Title and/or
- Location and/or
- Salary – Note: if pay transparency rules are not used on the job post, salary will not be sent to SEEK; Instead, SEEK will use market data to assign a salary based on similar job ads.
Managing spend
As Ad Sync is automatic, spend visibility is critical. SEEK provides tools and support to help customers track it :
- Monthly or weekly spend reports, automatically emailed to Greenhouse customers
- On-demand insights via SEEK’s Analytics tool

Once enabled, ads are posted to SEEK via this process:
Editing ads
Customers can edit their job ads in two ways:
- Update the job post in Greenhouse; edits will be delivered to SEEK via XML feed every 2 - 3 hours
- Edit the job ad in their SEEK Advertiser Account (Note: This will break the link between the requisition and the job ad, and any changes made to the requisition will not be updated via the XML feed integration. Best practice is option 1!)
