Linkedin’s RSC+ integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows users to keep ATS data seamlessly aligned across systems. RSC+ continuously pulls data from your ATS (Applicant Tracking System), ensuring your candidate, job, and application information on LinkedIn Recruiter is always up-to-date and consistent for your hiring team. This free upgrade to your Recruiter System Connect (RSC) experience strengthens your ATS connection so you can see more complete candidate records (e.g., resumes, phone numbers) in the flow of work - saving your team from switching platforms. This improved data quality powers LinkedIn Talent Solutions features like Connected Projects and ATS-enabled Reporting, making your hiring workflow smoother. While RSC+ gives LinkedIn access to more data, the way LinkedIn processes, handles, and stores that data remains unchanged from standard Recruiter System Connect.

Enable the RSC+ integration

  1. As a pre-requisite you will need to configure Recruiter System Connect in Greenhouse and must be both 1) a LinkedIn Recruiter Admin, 2) a Greenhouse Site Admin
  2. In LinkedIn Recruiter, navigate to ‘Product Settings’
  3. On the left nav, select the ‘Manage Integrations’ tab. If you do not see this tab, Recruiter System Connect has not been activated. Please follow steps here to complete onboarding.

  1. Navigate to your Greenhouse application, and click “Authorize” next to “RSC+”

  1. Review the data scope and permissions, and click “Login into ATS”

  1. In the Greenhouse login popup, enter your ATS admin credentials, and click “Log in to Greenhouse”. If necessary, complete any additional login steps using your Site admin or Greenhouse ISU credentials

  1. Select “Authorize using a service account” to ensure that the connection remains even after you leave the company.

  1. Once complete, you will be redirected back to the LinkedIn Recruiter authentication screen and see the confirmation notice:

Use the RSC+ integration

To initiate RSC+, you will need to configure Recruiter System Connect.  Once RSC+ has been enabled through Recruiter System Connect, and data has successfully synced, recruiters can begin using LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse together in a more seamless way. See here for more details about how RSC+ works.

For non-Hiring Assistant customers, it unlocks value through ATS-enabled Reporting, which shows how activity on LinkedIn results in hiring outcomes in the ATS.

For Hiring Assistant customers, it unlocks value through Connected Projects, allowing Hiring Assistant to evaluate applicants from the ATS alongside those sourced from LinkedIn (including resume data for Hiring Assistant). These capabilities help maintain consistent, accurate data across systems and give recruiters a more complete view of candidates without extra manual steps.

Using Connected Projects

Important: Must have RSC+ enabled and an active Hiring Assistant license

  1. Navigate to the ‘Projects’ tab > Select ‘Connect ATS job requisitions’

  1. For each Job requisition that has been synced by your ATS, map to the correct Recruiter project. Recruiter projects will be suggested automatically if there is a strong match.

  1. Click ‘Connect project’

  1. Review project details and where, applicable, determine if you would like to Enable Hiring Assistant on this project. Note: Hiring Assistant must be enabled on your Connected Project to evaluate applicants with AI, and additional steps are required after clicking “Connect” to kick off applicant evaluation.

  1. Click ‘Create Project’.

  1. Review your Hiring Assistant qualifications. These qualifications will be automatically generated using information from your connected job requisition, and you can edit them on the screen below.
  2. Ask Hiring Assistant to start applicant evaluation by selecting “Start sourcing and applicant evaluation” or typing “start applicant evaluation” into the chat box
  3. View your applicants within the “Applicants” tab of your hiring project. Once Hiring Assistant evaluation has been started, evaluations will automatically appear. Note that if you have a large volume of applicants, it will take time (up to a few hours for >1000 applicants) for them all to sync into your connected project and be evaluated by Hiring Assistant. You can refresh the experience to see the latest results.
  4. Once applicants are evaluated, you can view their Hiring Assistant evaluation on their profile.
