SwiftLynx integration

The SwiftLynx integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows users to automatically sync candidate data, streamline application reviews, and leverage AI insights directly within your Greenhouse workflow. SwiftLynx automatically analyzes new applications from Greenhouse and posts a summary to Slack, adding a detailed analysis note and match score tag to the candidate's profile in Greenhouse.

Setup the integration

To integrate SwiftLynx with Greenhouse Recruiting, you will use the SwiftLynx platform to authorize the connection via OAuth. This process automatically creates and configures the necessary webhooks in your Greenhouse account, so no manual webhook creation is required.

Follow the steps below to connect:

  1. Log in to your SwiftLynx account and navigate to Account → Manage ATS integrations.
  2. Select Greenhouse from the provider list.
  3. (Optional) Enter your Slack Webhook URL if you wish to receive Slack notifications for candidate analysis results.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Once the integration is created in the list, click the Connect Greenhouse button. 

  1. You will be redirected to the Greenhouse authorization page. Review the requested permissions and click Authorize. 

You can authorize the integration as your user or using a service account. Once authorized, you will be redirected back to SwiftLynx. The integration automatically configures a webhook in Greenhouse for the “Candidate has submitted application” event.

You can verify the webhook creation in Greenhouse by navigating to Configure → Dev Center → Webhooks. You should see a webhook named "SwiftLynx Integration" (or similar) with the status Active.

Use the SwiftLynx integration with Greenhouse Recruiting

Once the integration is enabled, SwiftLynx offers two primary ways to analyze candidates: Automatic Analysis and Bulk Import.

Automatic Analysis (New Applications)

When a new application is submitted in Greenhouse, SwiftLynx automatically analyzes the candidate via the configured webhook.

  1. Submit an application: As soon as a candidate applies, the webhook triggers the analysis.
  2. View Analysis in Greenhouse: Navigate to the candidate’s profile in Greenhouse.
    • Check the Notes section for a note titled "SwiftLynx AI Analysis" containing the complete report.
    • Check the Tags section for a tag indicating the match score (e.g., "✅ SwiftLynx: Strong Match (80-89pts)").

  1. View Summary in Slack: If configured, you will receive a message in Slack with the analysis summary and a link to the full report. 

Bulk Import (Existing Candidates)

You can also analyze historical candidates for any specific job posting.

  1. In SwiftLynx, find your Greenhouse integration and click the Bulk Import button. 

  1. Select the job posting you wish to analyze from the dropdown menu.
  2. Click Start Import. SwiftLynx will analyze all candidates associated with that job and update their Greenhouse profiles with analysis notes and tags.
