This feature is currently in beta and may not be available to your organization.
This guide explains how to turn on Fraud Detection by office or department, control access to fraud reports, and manage GDPR-related compliance settings. For rollout, coordinate with TA, Legal, and Security to align security controls with the candidate experience.
Fraud detection setup
Fraud reports are only available for jobs associated with an office or department where Fraud Detection is enabled. Site Admins must turn this on before you can run a report for a candidate
Note: Read more about fraud reports here.
Offices and departments are selected on the Real Talent configuration page. (Configure > Real Talent > Fraud.)
Use scroll down to the Fraud Detection settings and click Edit. Pick which offices and departments can use this feature. Remember, a job needs to be part of an enabled office and department for the reports to work.
Tip: When implementing Fraud Detection for the first time, begin with a small group of users in a specific office or department to test your settings and workflows before expanding access across the organization.
Permissions setup
Job admins can be given two levels of permission to access fraud reports:
- Can view fraud reports: The user can see the results of existing fraud reports.
- Can run fraud reports: The user can run new fraud reports.
In order to access fraud reports in the Security Screening tab of a candidate’s profile, you must have the necessary permissions enabled..
Update these permissions under Job Admin Permission levels (link). (Configure > Permissions > See and manage Job Admin levels)
GDPR compliance
If your organization is subject to GDPR, you can manage compliance through data retention and candidate packet settings.
To control deletion of Fraud Detection signal data, add or update a data retention rule within the GDPR section of your Privacy & Compliance settings, by selecting Fraud Report under the 'Data to be Deleted' menu.
To support candidate data access requests, Fraud Detection can be added to candidate packets. [add link]
