Grayscale’s AI assistant, Gracie, lets candidates chat with an assistant while they browse and apply to jobs, helping them get quick answers and guidance without waiting on a recruiter. Gracie automates common candidate communication and repetitive recruiting tasks which streamlines high-volume hiring.
Overview
When you turn on the Grayscale AI assistant integration, Greenhouse embeds the Gracie chatbot in your Greenhouse-hosted job board. This lets candidates chat with the AI assistant at key moments: while they’re browsing jobs, reading a job post, or after they submit an application.
Use Gracie to give candidates quick, consistent answers about roles, processes and next steps to reduce repetitive back-and-forth for your recruiting team, especially when you’re hiring at scale.
Add Grayscale’s AI Assistant
Before you begin, you’ll need an active subscription to Grayscale’s AI Assistant.
In Grayscale
When you have a Greyscale AI Assistant account, sign into Grayscale, then go to your AI Assistant’s Configuration page. Select Usage. Scroll to your “AI Assistant Token” then copy this token to your clipboard.
In Greenhouse
Go to Configure > Job boards & posts. Select the job board you want to update, then go to Board settings. Scroll to the "Partners" section, then check "turn on Grayscale AI Assistant."
Paste the AI assistant token from Grayscale in the AI assistant token field.
Save your changes.
After saving, Gracie will appear across your job board experience, including the job listings, job posts and confirmation pages.
