Configure the Gumloop integration
Create a Gumloop account
- Create a Gumloop account
- Go to https://staging.gumloop.com and create an account.
- A free account is sufficient for using the Greenhouse integration.
- Add Greenhouse credentials in Gumloop
- Once your account is created, navigate to: https://staging.gumloop.com/credentials
- Click Add Credentials.
- Search for Greenhouse and select it.
- Continue to authenticate with Greenhouse using the OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow.

- During the OAuth consent step, you can click on Custom scope to see all the available tools and the Greenhouse scopes associated with them.

Use the Gumloop integration
Scenario 1: Using the integration with Agents
- Visit: https://gumloop.com/agents
- Click Create agent.
- In the agent setup, click Connect app, search for Greenhouse, and connect it.
- Save the agent. * After saving, you can chat with the agent and ask Greenhouse-related questions such as:
- “List all jobs”
- “Show me candidates in the onsite stage for [Job Name]”
You can also:
- Connect the agent to Slack to chat directly from Slack.
- Add system instructions to further shape the agent’s responses (for example, to bias toward certain roles, locations, or seniority levels).
Scenario 2: Using the integration to build workflows
- Visit: https://gumloop.com/hub to access the Hub.
- Click Create flow.
- In the workflow editor, click the + icon to open the node library.
- Search for Greenhouse and select Create a Greenhouse node with AI.
- In the node creation prompt, you can describe what you want the node to do, for example:
- “Get all jobs”
- “Create an interview for a candidate”
- “List candidates in the ‘Phone Screen’ stage”
- You can also view the list of available tools for Greenhouse within this interface.
- After you enter the prompt and click Generate, Gumloop will build the node.
- You may be prompted to provide additional details or test the node as part of the generation flow.
- Once you are satisfied with the behavior, save the node.
- After testing and saving the node, it is ready to be used in your workflow. You can then chain it with other nodes (for example, Salesforce, Slack, or email nodes) to build end-to-end recruiting automation.
