You can meet more candidates in less time with Wedge. Wedge makes screening candidates a breeze by allowing candidates to record interviews and recruiters to review them on their own time. Wedge gives you the power to customize your interviews and invite as many candidates as you'd like, making scheduling headaches a thing of the past.

Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Wedge allows you to seamlessly add Wedge one-way interviews to a job's interview plan.

Enable the Greenhouse Recruiting / Wedge integration

To enable the integration, follow the instructions below to get your Wedge API Key:

  1. Login to your Wedge account.
  2. Click Settings on the top navigation bar.
  3. Click the Integrations tab.
  4. Click Connect Integration.
  5. Copy your API token/key to a secure location.

Once you have your API token/key copied, click here to open a ticket with Greenhouse Technical Support. 

Note: Do not send your API key in the initial ticket. Greenhouse Technical Support will respond with a SendSafely link for you to securely share the API key.

Greenhouse Technical Support will respond in the ticket with a SendSafely link for you to securely share the API key. Greenhouse Technical Support may ask you to verify your identity using a verification code.

Once Greenhouse Technical Support has received your API key and enabled the integration, they will send a confirmation email to you.

Add Wedge stage to an interview plan

Once the Greenhouse Recruiting / Wedge integration is enabled for your organization, you'll be able to add the Wedge assessment as an interview stage.

To add a stage to an existing job, navigate to the job (All Jobs > Job Name), and click the Job Setup tab.

Select Interview Plan on the left, then click Add Stage.

Select the Wedge stage on the next window. When you're finished, click Add to apply the stage to the job's interview plan.

Set up the assessment on the Wedge stage

After the Wedge stage has been added to your job's interview plan, you'll need to add the assessment to the stage.

To add the assessment, click Edit Take Home Test on the Wedge stage.

Choose the assessments from the dropdown menu. The available options are based on the assessments you configured in Wedge. Assign at least one Greenhouse Recruiting user to review submitted assessments.

When you're finished, click Save.

Note: All configuration for the assessment (including the email template) will need to be done in Wedge. Click here for instructions on setting up jobs in Wedge.

Send and review a Wedge

When candidates are moved into the Wedge interview stage, Greenhouse will display a Send Test link.

Note: When you send a Wedge from inside Greenhouse Recruiting, the interview instructions will be sent by Wedge.

After it has been sent, an assessment's status will display in Greenhouse Recruiting.

Once the candidate has submitted their interview, you'll receive an email notification for the completed Wedge.

Additionally, the interview kit in Greenhouse Recruiting will contain a link to view the submitted Wedge interview on the Wedge application.

Click View Report to see the candidate's results in Wedge.

You will be taken to the Wedge platform to review the submitted interview.
