Business Intelligence Connector Update: July 14, 2025

We're updating the Business Intelligence Connector (BIC) with Greenhouse sourcing automation (GHSA) data on July 14, 2025.

Note: This is an additive update that makes sourcing automation data available to GHSA subscribers. If your organization does not subscribe to GHSA, no immediate action is required.

Overview of changes

To provide greater visibility into sourcing performance, we’re adding Greenhouse Sourcing Automation (GHSA) data to the Business Intelligence Connector.

Greenhouse Sourcing Automation helps you find, reach, and engage top talent efficiently by retrieving accurate contact information for prospects, enabling personalized and automated email outreach, tracking engagement, and centralizing sourcing activity.

This update gives you access to a new set of GHSA-related tables in your nightly ETL, making it easier to analyze outreach performance and prospect activity alongside the rest of your recruiting data.

Required action: To receive GHSA tables in your nightly ETL, go to Settings > Dev Center > Business Intelligence Connector > Settings to enable the new schema.

What’s new

The Business Intelligence Connector now includes Greenhouse Sourcing Automation (GHSA) data to help you analyze how your team connects with and converts prospects.

You can now access the following sourcing insights in your nightly ETL:

  • Campaign pool performance: ghsa_campaign_pools table to break down the structure, type (engage or nurture), and timing of your campaigns. Track which users created and managed each campaign pool.
  • Prospect engagement: The ghsa_actions table captures each interaction a prospect has with your outreach, such as views, replies, unsubscribes, and sentiment updates.
  • Message activity: Dive into delivery and engagement metrics using the ghsa_messages table. This includes timestamps for when a message was sent, viewed, replied to, or clicked, giving you visibility into every step of a prospect’s journey.
  • Outreach steps and content: The ghsa_campaign_steps table allows you to audit campaign design. See subject lines, message content, delays between steps, and whether a step used personalization, AI contribution, or a Gmail alias.
  • Task tracking: The ghsa_tasks table helps monitor task-based steps like InMails or manual outreach. Track task types and completion timing to understand how work is distributed and executed across your team.
  • Contact lookups: Understand lookup activity with the ghsa_lookups table. See when your team searched for work or personal email addresses and whether a lookup was successful.

This data enables deeper insights into sourcing efficiency and allows you to evaluate campaigns and team performance in context with the rest of your recruiting funnel, Sourcing Automation reports and helps you build deeper, cross-functional dashboards.

Required action

To begin receiving GHSA data in your nightly ETL, verify that:

  • You have an active Greenhouse Sourcing Automation subscription
  • Business Intelligence Connector is enabled for your Greenhouse Recruiting instance

Then, go to Settings > Dev Center > Business Intelligence Connector > Settings to enable the new schema.
