Overview of changes

To improve reporting on job post locations, we are finalizing a previously announced update to the Business Intelligence Connector.

Deprecation of location field in job_posts table

• The location field will be removed from the job_posts table on May 21, 2025.
• This change ensures that all job post location data is centralized in the job_post_locations table.

The job_post_locations table was added to the BIC schema on February 19, 2025. It supports job posts with multiple locations and offers improved reporting accuracy.

Required action

If your reports or dashboards reference the location field in the job_posts table, update them to use the job_post_locations table before May 21, 2025 to avoid disruptions.
