Greenhouse Recruiting’s integration with GoodHire allows your organization to send GoodHire background checks.
Enable the GoodHire integration
To start, click here to obtain your API key from GoodHire.
Once you have received your API key, click here to open a ticket with the Greenhouse Support team.
The Greenhouse Support team will respond with a SendSafely link for you to enter your API key. A notification is sent to the Greenhouse Support team after you have entered your API key, and they will email you to confirm your API key has been set up in your account and your integration is enabled.
Add the GoodHire stage to a job's interview plan
Once the GoodHire integration is enabled for your organization, you can add the GoodHire stage to your jobs to begin running background checks.
To do this for an existing job, go to the Jobs tab, then click on a job. Click Job Setup on the left side of the page.
From the Job Setup page, click Interview Plan on the left panel.
Click Add stage at the top right of the page. From the Add Stage dialog box, select the GoodHire stage. When finished, click Add at the bottom of the dialog box to add the stage to the job's interview plan.
Order a GoodHire background check
To send a GoodHire background check, navigate to a candidate profile and click Send Test in the GoodHire stage.
In the Send Test dialog window:
- Confirm the candidate's email address
- Select the background check (test) to run
- Assign a Greenhouse Recruiting user to grade the test
When finished, click Send Test.
Review the background check results
To review a candidate's background check results, navigate to the candidate's profile in Greenhouse Recruiting and click the name of the test.
On the subsequent page, click View Report.
