Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with PDP Global (my.pdpworks.com) allows you to seamlessly add a PDP ProScan Survey test to a job's interview plan. In this article, we will cover how to:
- Enable the Greenhouse/PDP Global (my.pdpworks.com) Integration
- Add the PDP ProScan Survey (applicant survey matched to a Job Model) Stage to the Job’s Interview Plan
- Configure the PDP ProScan Survey Stage (selecting a Test)
- Send and Review the Test (PDP ProScan survey and Applicant Match, Candidate Interview Guide, Career Path, Personal Dynamics reports)
Enable the Greenhouse/PDP Global Integration
Once you have obtained your API key from PDP, click here to open a support ticket with Greenhouse and request a SendSafely link for submitting the API key. Do not include the API Key in this ticket.
The Greenhouse Support Team will respond with a SendSafely link for you to enter your API key. A notification will be sent to the Greenhouse Support Team after you have entered your API key and they will email you to confirm that your API key has been set up in your account and your integration is enabled.
Note: Do not send the API key in email. API Keys allow access to sensitive data and must be kept secret. If an API Key is shared in an email and your email is intercepted by a malicious third party or your email account is hacked, the hacker would be able to view and access your API Key. For this reason, we require API Keys to be shared securely using SendSafely, Greenhouse’s secure data transfer platform.
Add the PDP ProScan Survey Stage to Job’s Interview Plan
Once the Greenhouse/PDP integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the PDP ProScan Survey as an Interview stage.
To do this for an existing job, navigate to a job (All Jobs>Job Name) and click Job Setup from the Job navigation bar.
From the Job Setup page, navigate to Interview Plan on the left-hand panel. Scroll down the page and click + Add a Stage.
From the Add Stage dialog box, select the PDP ProScan Survey stage. When finished, click Add to apply the stage to the job's interview plan.
Configure the PDP ProScan Survey Stage
Once the stage has been added to the job's interview plan, click Edit.
Use the provided drop-down menu to choose the test (my.pdpworks.com Job Model) that you have previously set up in your PDP Global (my.pdpworks.com) account.
Select the appropriate test and assign at least one Greenhouse user to grade/review submitted test (PDP ProScan Survey reports). When finished, click Save.
Note: Keep in mind that all configuration of the assessment (PDP Job Model) itself will need to be done (by you or another authorized user) in your PDP Global my.pdpworks.com account. Only active Job Models will be included in this list.
Send and Review the Test
When candidates are moved into the PDP ProScan Survey interview stage, Greenhouse will display a Send Test link.
Note: When you send a test from Greenhouse, the PDP ProScan Survey invitation email is actually sent by PDP from Your Company Name <firstname.lastname@example.org>. The email will look similar to the following:
The status of the test will be viewable in Greenhouse:
If the candidate has submitted their test (PDP ProScan Survey), the PDP ProScan Stage status will display the candidate’s test score (PDP ProScan Survey match score).
Once the candidate has submitted their test, the candidate’s Interview Kit will contain a link to view the reports from the PDP ProScan survey.
After you click on the Select Interview Kit on the candidate’s profile, you’ll be taken to a page with a View Report link.
Clicking View Report will display the PDP reports PDF in a separate tab in your browser. The PDF will include the following reports: Applicant Match, Candidate Interview Guide, Career Path, Personal Dynamics Report.
- How do I create a test?
All active Job models in the client’s my.pdpworks.com account appear as “test” in the list for the PDP ProScan Survey stage. Authorized users may create Job Models in my.pdpworks.com at Create > Job Models. Job Models are built with existing JDA surveys, ProScan surveys, or ProScan Applicant Surveys.
- A test is missing, where did it go?
Active Job Models in your my.pdpworks.com account appear as tests in the ProScan Survey stage in Greenhouse. When a Job Model is archived in my.pdpworks.com it will not appear in the list of tests. If necessary, archived Job Models can be unarchived.
- When I click the View Test link, I’m asked to save a file. Is there an easier way to view the test results?
Test results (reports) are PDF files. Most modern web browsers will display PDF files in a browser window or tab via their native PDF renderer. Consult the help documentation for your browser to determine how to enable your browsers PDF renderer, helper, add-on, or plug-in. Alternatively, install Adobe Reader.
- How can PDP help me market a job?
When a JobScan Job Model is created, a Job Model report results. The Job Model report includes a How to Advertise section of words and phrases for incorporation in your job postings. The words in the list are tailored to attract the right applicants.
