PDP Global's JobScan provides a systematic approach to customizing your screening and selection process. JobScan accurately identifies the work styles and behavioral traits that are best for your organization’s ultimate success. JobScan even generates How to Advertise words and phrases for incorporation in your job postings to attract the right applicants with the right traits to apply. Candidates are matched to your tailor-made job benchmarks (via the PDP ProScan Survey test stage) giving HR, recruiters, and hiring managers a clear understanding of where the candidate fits the job requirements and where there may be gaps. A job match % score helps inform decisions to move a candidate to the interview stage. This is where the JobScan Candidate Interview Guide provides objective behavioral interviewing questions based on the candidates’ fit to the job requirements. Attract, hire, manage, and retain the best — the first time — with PDP JobScan.

Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with PDP Global (my.pdpworks.com) allows you to seamlessly add a PDP ProScan Survey test to a job's interview plan. In this article, we will cover how to:

Enable the PDP Global integration

To start, contact your PDP Global representative to request your API key. Once you have received your API key, click here to open a ticket with the Greenhouse Support team.

Note: Do not send the API key in this initial email.

The Greenhouse Support team will respond with a SendSafely link for you to enter your API key. A notification is sent to the Greenhouse Support team after you have entered your API key, and they will email you to confirm your API key has been set up in your account and your integration is enabled.

Note: To verify your identity, the Greenhouse Support team might request you provide a Support Verification Code before adding the API key to your organization's account.

Add the PDP ProScan Survey stage to a job's interview plan

Once the PDP Global integration is enabled for your organization, you can add the PDP ProScan Survey as an interview stage.

To do this for an existing job, navigate to a job (All Jobs > job) and click Job Setup from the job navigation bar. From the Job Setup page, click Interview Plan on the left panel.

Click Add stage at the top right of the page.

From the Add Stage dialog box, select the PDP ProScan Survey stage. When finished, click Add at the bottom of the dialog box to add the stage to the job's interview plan.

Configure the PDP ProScan Survey stage

Once the stage has been added to the job's interview plan, click Edit.

Use the Test Name dropdown menu to choose the test (my.pdpworks.com Job Model) that you have previously set up in your PDP Global (my.pdpworks.com) account.

Note: Keep in mind creation and configuration of the assessment itself, as well as the branding you decide to use, must be completed in PDP Global.

Select the appropriate assessment and assign at least one Greenhouse Recruiting user to grade/review submitted tests (PDP ProScan Survey reports). When finished, click Save.

You have successfully added a PDP Global assessment to your Greenhouse Recruiting interview plan.

Send and review the test

When a candidate is moved into the PDP ProScan Survey interview stage, Greenhouse Recruiting displays a Send Test link on their profile. Click Send Test to send the assessment to the candidate.

When you send a test from Greenhouse, the PDP ProScan Survey invitation email is actually sent by PDP from Your Company Name <applicant.invitation@my.pdpworks.com>. The email looks similar to the following:

Once sent, the test's status is viewable in Greenhouse Recruiting.

If the candidate has submitted their PDP ProScan Survey, the PDP ProScan Stage status displays the candidate’s PDP ProScan Survey match score.

Once the candidate has submitted their test, the candidate’s Interview Kit contains a link to view the reports from the PDP ProScan survey.

After you click Select Interview Kit, you’re directed to a page with a View Report link.

Clicking View Report displays the PDP reports PDF in a separate tab in your browser. The PDF includes the following reports: Applicant Match, Candidate Interview Guide, Career Path, Personal Dynamics Report

Frequently asked questions

How do I create a test?

All active Job models in the client’s my.pdpworks.com account appear as “test” in the list for the PDP ProScan Survey stage. Authorized users may create Job Models in my.pdpworks.com at Create > Job Models. Job Models are built with existing JDA surveys, ProScan surveys, or ProScan Applicant Surveys.

A test is missing; where did it go?

Active Job Models in your my.pdpworks.com account appear as tests in the ProScan Survey stage in Greenhouse. When a Job Model is archived in my.pdpworks.com it will not appear in the list of tests. If necessary, archived Job Models can be unarchived.

When I click the View Test link, I’m asked to save a file. Is there an easier way to view the test results?

Test results (reports) are PDF files. Most modern web browsers display PDF files in a browser window or tab via their default PDF renderer. Consult the help documentation for your browser to determine how to enable your browser's PDF renderer, helper, add-on, or plug-in. Alternatively, install Adobe Reader.

How can PDP help me market a job?

When a JobScan Job Model is created, a Job Model report results. The Job Model report includes a How to Advertise section of words and phrases for incorporation in your job postings. The words in the list are tailored to attract the right applicants.
