Job Ad Market allows your organization to purchase individual job ads from thousands of third-party job boards using a streamlined process directly within Greenhouse Recruiting.

Purchase job ad through Job Ad Market
Note: The workflow for purchasing a job ad through Stack Overflow or ZipRecruiter might vary slightly from the process outlined below.
Navigate to the job for which you wish to purchase an ad (All Jobs > job). From the Job Dashboard page, click the Sourcing tab.
Click Create new campaign at the top-right corner of the Sourcing page.
Choose a job board partner on the next page.
Scroll through the list of available partners, or use the search options at the top of the page to narrow down the partners list by board name, job function, or targeted location.
When you've selected a job board partner, click Continue in the bottom right corner of the page.
Choose one of the job's live external job posts to post to the job board partner. You can edit the post description in a later step.
Review the Campaign summary panel on the right side of the page to confirm the following details:
- Campaign dates
- Job board partner
- Selected job post
Click Continue when finished
Review the Campaign overview panel and make any necessary changes. The Campaign name is used for your team's internal reference only, and is not displayed to candidates.
Use the About the job panel to enter details about the position and edit the job post description if necessary. The same information must be provided for every job board partner, but not all partners publish the same details in their job ads. (This means some fields you fill out in the About the job panel might not be included in the final job ad.)
Every job ad must include a physical address. Remote job postings are not supported at this time.
Note: Job ads cannot be edited or refunded once the purchase is complete. Double-check all details to ensure you've entered the correct information.
Click Continue when finished.
Enter your payment information on the Billing page. If you wish to make any final changes to your job ad, click Back at the bottom-left and navigate to the page requiring changes.
When finished, click Purchase Campaign.
In the subsequent dialog box, click Purchase one final time to complete the purchase. No edits can be made, nor can refunds be issued, after this step.
View purchased job ad
To see the status of purchased ad or to view the ad live, return to the Job Ad Market page (Job Dashboard > Sourcing tab > Job ad market). The Campaigns panel lists all purchased ads for the job, as well as the status of each ad. Purchased ads display one of three statuses:
- Pending: The ad has been purchased but not yet posted on the third-party job board.
- Live: The ad has been purchased, is posted on the third-party job board, and can accept applications.
- Offline: The ad is no longer posted on the third-party job board and cannot accept applications.
Some job boards provide a direct link to view live ads on their platform. To view ads live, click the arrow icon to the right of the campaign name.
Note: A purchased job ad displays a status of pending until it is published, at which point the status changes to live. An ad might be published within a few hours of purchasing, but in some cases publishing may take up to a week. This process varies between third-party job boards and cannot be expedited.
Review job ad receipt
To retrieve a receipt for a purchased ad, click the Configure icon in the top-right corner, then select Order History in the left panel.
Click the Adobe Acrobat icon to the left of the appropriate invoice number to download and review the receipt.
Report on the performance of purchased job ad
Candidates who apply to a job through a purchased ad are added to your Greenhouse Recruiting account with the relevant third-party job board listed as their source.
We recommend using the Candidate Quality by Campaign report to review the effectiveness of your campaign.
Note: Cost information is available only on the Sourcing page, and cannot be pulled into reports.
