With Auto-Advance, your organization can set up Application Rules so that, based on a prospect's answer to a prospect post question, they will be automatically advanced to a specified stage in the prospect pool.
Example: For the question, "In what cities are you available to work?" you can configure an Auto-Advance rule so candidates who answer "Chicago" are automatically moved to the stage "Based Locally."
In this article, we will cover how to configure an Auto-Advance Application Rule for a prospect post, and assume you have already configured a prospect post with custom application questions.
To start, click the Ellipsis icon on the navigation bar and select CRM from the dropdown menu.
From the CRM page, click Configure CRM.
Navigate to the Prospect Posts panel, and click the Ellipsis icon under the Actions column inline with a specific prospect post.
Select Manage Rules from the dropdown menu.
Click Add a Rule.
- Yes/No
- Single select
- Multi select
From the Add a Rule dialog box, select your prospect post question, the prospect response, and click the check box for Auto-Advance.
From the Advance to: drop-down menu, select the stage the prospect will be moved to if they answer with any of the specified responses.
You can also check the Tag box to apply a candidate tag to prospects who are Auto-Advanced with this Application Rule.
Click Save when finished.
You can enhance the power of Auto-Advance Application Rules by using AND/OR Conditions to base a single Application Rule on candidate responses to more than one custom job post question, or to base the Application Rule on multiple possible responses to a single custom job post question.
